Just got a very disturbing call from this number. When I tried calling back all i got was a busy signal, Please notify when you can find answers for me.

Just got this call a few minutes ago by the time I got to the phone it went into voice mail . I tried calling the number back several times only to get busy signal. I remember getting a call from this number before  with in last month. Very annoying not to get through on call back. 08/02/2007

oop!this GSWT we just realized is for one of our favorite charities, our wonderful veterans! GSWT-GENERAL STAFF WITH TROOPS. this is a great way to donate goods (they even come and pick up,leaving a tax deductable record for your taxes) to help our country's finest.

When I answered I got a recorded message "please hold for an available agent."  I hung up.

Call came in to my home phone number on 5/1/09 at 10:55 AM.

actually they just called me back and want to test my water tomorrow as fl ranked 49 in water quality surveys. they will give us dinner at outback in return. if true thats cool. im going to watch them carefully though. internet says gswt stands for govt staff with troops. hmmm

maybe big brother posing as a water treatment co. is collecting data from us via the phone. hmmm

You can go to the Do Not Call List and report them to the DNCL(Do not call list) and file a report/complaint thingy.

Many calls days, evenings and weekends to my home in Kissimmee, FL.  They leave no message and do not respond when I answer.  Very anoying.  Appears to be business but I'm on the DNC list.

They keep calling my number (in Seminole County, FL) but I have not answered.  This Web site was great.  Thanks for all your postings!

Got a call @ 9:39 AM on April 1st and was promised a $40.00 gas card for completing a 6 question survey. After 7 questions, the nice lady on the phone said that someone would be calling right back to get the information to send the gas card to me. At 11:15 and no return call I googled the 407-781-1977 number on my caller ID and boy the world become very clear about this company!!! When I called them at their 800-574-6031 and talked to the 3rd peoson, they tried to say the MAYBE I would receive a gas card but only after getting my water tested. I told him that the last survey question has if I had a water treatment system and I said yes. He told me that I will not get the gas card. I asked him his name but he would not tell me. He asked me my address and when I would not tell him he started calling me a piece of S*#@T and that he has my name and number on his caller ID and he was going to come and F** me up. Then I hung up now knowing I would not be getting the $40.00 gas card they promised for talking the survey.

I recently moved into the Orlando area.  GSWT is my most popular caller.  I have been receiving NUMEROUS calls from 407-781-1977 and 321-207-2850.  I just spoke with someone in their call center at 800-574-6031 and asked to be placed on their do not call list.  She asked for my name, which I did not provide, and told me that since there were multiple people in their call center that I would probably still be called.  Something to look forward to tomorrow...

received a call from GSWT at 407 781 1977 just now. Someone was on the other end of the phone but didn't say anything and after 10 seconds or so, hung up.  We're on the do not call list.  Very annoying.

What a great world. I have been getting these calls as well with the hang ups. After getting one tonight I typed in the gswt from the caller ID with my town, Orlando, and found this web page. I then called the 800 number listed and talked to a manager who not only took my number of the list, but told me she was going to terminate the person who hung up on me because that defeats the purpose of their job. God bless the U.S.A.

A lawsuit filed in state Circuit Court in Seminole County alleges that Great Southern Water Treatment Inc. of Longwood made at least six calls to Florida residents on the state's "Do Not Call" list between February and June 2007.

The legal action seeks an injunction prohibiting Great Southern Water Treatment from making any future calls to residents on the list, plus fines of up to $10,000 for each of the calls the company made to prohibited phone numbers.

Call from GSWT at 851 pm tonight.. I didn't bother answering the line and they didn't leave a message

When I answered, recording stated "hold for an important message" which was repeated 3 times before call was disconnected.  Being on DNC list doesn't mean diddlely squat!

When I answered the phone, no one said anything on the other end.  I repeated "hello" two more times but still received no response.  When I called the number back, the voice said "I'm sorry, your call did not go through."  Don't appreciate their interruption and invasion into my home without the courtesy of acknowleging me when I answered the phone.

They repeatedly call my home and hang up on either me or my answering machine.  How are they still allowed to call when I have signed up on the do no call list.  A lot of good that did.

This number belongs to great southern water treatment.  You can call them at (800) 574-6031 and request to be taken off their call list.

I have received 3 calls from them tonight.  We have multiple other calls in the past.  I want to know who these people are.  I am in Orlando and will gladly talk to the owners, callers, those responsible.

Got a call from 407-781-1977.Didn't amswer.According to my wife this isn't the first time.

Did not respond when I answered.  I continued to listen and caller took about one  min to hang up their phone.
