407-816-9110  is still in "business" as of Aug 12.   The name Daniel Balser shows on caller ID, and it's a prerecorded message about my car warranty expiring.   We have a new car that will be under warranty for 3 years.  Thank you to NC for providing links for reporting.  Our number is on the don't call list, too.  I reported the number.

I usually find those solicitations just annoying, but I found this slightly (very slightly) amusing in that I don't even have a car!

They call and if you press one to speak with a rep they hang up on you when you tell them not to call you.

I'm on the do not call registry.  I'm constantly telling these people to remove me from their call list to no avail.

I AM ON ALL DO NOT CALL LISTS!  And these idiots have probably called me 2 dozen times.  I have reported them to the Minnesota Attorney General for violations of do not call.  I spoke with one of the idiots who call themselves a manager.

Do I want to continue my warranty?  Sure.  I have a 1998 Ford pick-up with 195K miles on it, hail damage, been backed into by a fork lift at the lumber yard, rusted out wheel wells, and leaks when it rains.  Perfect; I'll take full coverage.  As soon as I get my warranty papers I am going to get the transmission fixed so I can go back to pulling stumps.

Does make you wonder why these dick weeds would call over and over.

Pre-recorded message said my warranty was up and to press 1 to talk to a specialist.  I pressed 1. They wanted my VIN number. I asked what car they were talking about. They said for my protection they don't have that information until I give them the VIN number.  I told them they were a scam and to put me on their Do Not Call list.  They said it would take 30 to 60 days to take effect.  I said I've gotten this call before and told them to take the number off and it was more than 60 days ago.  He said other companies sell warranties.  I said I wanted his name and phone number for the next time I get the call.  He hung up on me. I pressed *69 and called back.  Got the same message about being disconnected

The jerks just called me.  When I asked which car she was referring to, a "lady" with a thick ethnic accent said "Thank you for your time" and hung up.  When I called back, I received a recording saying the number had been disconnected.  Someone needs to slide under a gas truck and taste their own blood.

I have received several calls from this number but I am usally not home to answer it. Today I was home so I answered and heard a recording telling me about my warantee and asking me to push "1" to speak with someone. When I did I immediately asked the person for the name of the company. She said, "Autoprotection Center for Extended Warranties." When I asked her to repeat she hung up.

This number keeps calling, just called at 5.45pm .... I do not own a car..."Wake up crazy people"

I don't know anyone in Orlando - and though I'm usually on my way to answer the call, my answering machine always picks up before I can make it to the phone.
They don't say a word - so I let the call go.
If they want something they should leave a message - I don't know who the hell they are. If I catch them I'll post what they say - so far it's a mystery. I do have a car - but it still sounds like a telemarketing scam to me.

call at 11:25 am 8/15/08.  rang 3 times; no message.  caller id said orlando, fl.  i've just sent ALL these kinds of calls to state attorney general's office so have been call free for few weeks.  guess i'm starting a new list for them.  am on nat'l dnc list.  will do complaint with them and ftc this time.  this stuff NEEDS to stop for all of us!

Just got a call from this number. Told the gal she would have to talk to husband; to call back in about an hour, although I doubt she will. If I get any more info, I'll report it. We are on the active Do Not Call registry.

Just got this call when I was running late and trying to get out the door to work. I went back to check because it was an "out of area" ring tone and I had just had an earlier conversation with my "out of area" mother who is dealing with the aftermath of Ike. I was disgusted when I saw it was listed as "Orlando, Fl".

For the record, I've gotten a lot of "expiring warranty" postcards lately. I have a 2004 model car with 45K miles and I know all about the "extended warranty" business (it's a total scam, regardless of who you deal with), so there's no warranty for them to be wanting me renew.

Got this call along with 15 others in 2 weeks. Calls like this coming from Melbourne, New Smyrna, Orlando, Pensacola, & Cocoa----All from FLORIDA! All strange calls = SCAM!

just received a call from the 407-816-9110 on my cell.  am i paying for these calls?  just wondering. i have 259,000 miles on my car; this sure is a scam and i am sick of these calls.  everyday i get the same car warranty call from a different number and it is getting ridiculous.

Called 8/5/08; was not around to answer phone, did an Internet search and found this page. This number must be "new", since I've put most of the "vehicle warranty" calls on my block list.

this number keeps appearing on my caller ID.  It comes with the listing with "Florida" on the ID.  They call repeatedly and I finally answered tonight.  They immediately hung up.  I too am on the Do Not Call list.  Last call on 8-5-08 at 6;30 PM.

Called here at 4:18pm 8-5-08. I was not here to answer. Called the number back and got a message that the number was disconnected and out of service. This was about two hours after they had called me.

Just called me. Our car is 8 years old and a foreign import, there is NO chance this is legitimate. Worse they hang up on you when you ask to be removed from their list.

I did a Google search for this number, and it shows up under Orlando Relocation as being Matt's Meticulous Lawn Care. I have no idea why a Florida lawn care service would want to call me. I live in Central Illinois. No message left. Have seen reports of this number on other sites, too.

They have called me before. I have told them that I do not have a warranty and to go pound sand. I told them that again today. I have submitted their info to the registry. Also, they had some idiot yelling in the background. Really professional dillweeds.
