This is a scam. There is a message on my bank's website saying others have gotten text messages from this number requesting debit card information. IT IS A FRAUD.

got text from 1 407 900 2634 good thing I checked online after clling.When they asked for my card number I hung up. Dont give out my number to any recorded messages.

I also received the text asking to call the same number and tried just pressing zero for an operator to find out what it was about but it wouldn't do anything but ask for my 16 digit act number so I knew something was fishy. I called and reported it to my cell phone carrier as a scam and they file a report. I suggest everyone also do the same.

got one of those texts today. called from cell. couldn't tell what really was said other than a card issue. just hung up. glad I looked it up before checking my bank online. I though it was my works money network card, that should be dead. 452345@vtext.com direct express debit mastercard. 14079002634. I hate my cell right now

My 14 yr old daughter has gotten 2 texts from that same number 407-900-2634 in the last 3 weeks. I have no idea how they got my child's phone number but they messin with the wrong person!!!

I tried calling the number from an untraceable landline, but got a fast busy signal.

These things are always scams, but sometimes it's fun to call the people on the other end and ask them a lot of questions, seeming like you're going along with the scam to see how far they will go.
At the end of the call, I get a kick out of telling them that they are thieves and that "this call has been traced by the FBI -- I would get away as quickly as possible!"

I got a text from 407-900-2634 on my cell phone asking me to call. When i called the recording indicated I needed to reenter  my 16 didget card number.  I hung up

Strange or coincedence I got a new debt card from Key Bank and I called to activate the card one hour prior to getting this text requesting the 16 diget number be reentered. Who ever is doing this is very smart or have connection within banks to act as quickly as they did

i got a text from this number to call Direct Express Debit MasterCard. i have no idea who that is but i do know that i DO NOT have an account with them.

I received a text message on my private cell phone number stating: (Direct Express Debit MasterCard) Call:1-407-900-2634. Funny, I don't even have a MC.

I call the number and it is an automated system telling me that my mastercard debit has been restricted due to an error and reactivate press 1. I enter 1 and it asks for my 16 digit card number (I entered a fake one). then press 1  etc etc....Total phishing scam.

Rec'd text 4/4/13 from 452345@vtext.com with the content (Direct Express Debit MasterCard) Call: 1407-900-2634.  Within ten minutes rec'd phone call from 619-699-5098.  Looking up the 619 phone number indicates they are telemarketers in Minnesota.  I don't answer the phone or respond to text messages unless I know who the caller is.

Ditto the above messages. Have received this text or similiar ones a couple of times a month for the past few months on my business phone. On April 3rd  received two of these texts 19 minutes apart.

@Kathy - I had the call earlier this week and the text today.  - same numbers

My Chase bank account was hacked into last week.  The money was returned by Chase but now I am getting texts from this number 407-900-2634 and calls from this number
612-699-5098.   Don't answer any of them!

Received text from this number saying Direct Express Debit MasterCard.  When I called the number electronic response asked me to enter my card #.  I do not have a MC Debit Card.

This is a scam.  I had the exact same thing as Bev above.

My local police have already had numerous reports of this phone number and spoofed text number.  Some people have not been suspicious enough and entered their card number, expiration and even the three digit V-Code (Security code) on the back of their cards.

DONT DO ANYTHING with the prompts.  Just call your local police and report it.

I got a text from  4523450@vtext.com.  The text said it was from (Direct Express Debit MasterCard) and to
call 1-407-9002634.  I do not have a Direct Express Debit Master Card but  I called the number thinking  maybe I had gotten the msg in error. I reached a message telling me that my debit limit had been set incorrectly and to enter "1" to reset it.  I did nothing and after a few seconds the recording came back and asked me to enter my 16 digit card number.  I disconnected. Another  scammer.  I use call screening on my landline phone but now I'm getting nuisance calls on the cell phone.

I got a text wanting my debit card number.  They said there was a glitch.  So I called my bank and there was nothing wrong with my card.

I got a text from JP Morgan Chase saying to call the number.  I didn't call because a bank wouldn't text me telling me to call them.

I don't have an account with chase. I think this number is a scam.

I looked up Berkshire Bank, and their site read this:

text message to call JP Morgan Chase.  I dont bank with them and never have.  Banks dont text anyway.

Message telling me to call Berkshire Bank.  Funny, I don't have an account there nor do banks text you if something is wrong.
