Missed call with no message.  Also wondering who or what this number is???

Calls regularly after 5:00 p.m. California time. No vm.

call no   say anything

Called and left no message.

I'm from Hawks nation, no vm, not calling it back.

Got a call from this number a while ago.  Did a reverse look up.  Said the number is an unlisted landline served by Embarq Florida, Inc.

412 area code here, too.  Caller ID showed number and Kissimmee, FL.  Didn't recognize the number, didn't answer. Plain and simple.  No VM left.  Scammers spoofing the number to hide where they are.  Not legit telemarketers.

Actually these number that are being used ARE not in service.  The scammers apparently are spoofing these numbers so they can't be tracked by us everyday people.  I've used a couple reverse number sites and most of these numbers showing up on the Caller ID are shown as being assigned to a certain area but not in use.  

I won't answer my phone if I don't recognize the number. If it's important, they'll leave a VM. I've accidentally answered my phone a year ago after misreading the ID number to find it was a junk call and ended up with a ton of junk calls for a while. This is how they find out if the number is used by a real person and you're suddenly on a hot list.

it has little to do with Target.  I've been getting them on and off for years.

I'm in a 412 AC and just got a call from this number. These are scam calls and the operators don't care about DNC or who's registered on it. Just keep reporting these calls as I do. Eventually these scammers will slip up and be caught.

I suspect this outfit is spoofing numbers that are not in service. And I've read that's illegal, but they don't care.  And I definitely would NEVER respond back to any of these calls.

The DNC registry keeps legitimate businesses from making unsolicited calls to people who don't want them.  Unfortunately, it does nothing to stop scammers since they couldn't care less about DNC.

414 area code here. Just got call minutes ago. I never answer #'s I don't recognize.  No message. I've gotten a slew of calls from far away area codes lately. Some of them  I've mistakenly answered. (No more!) This makes me so mad since I do have friends/relatives from all over with diff area codes and this kind of  stuff makes people afraid to pick up there phones when they ring. Every # has to be checked out and verified first. What a life we live these days!

keep getting calls from this number, usually in morning, once a week.

2014-02-24 @ 10:32a, Received a 'single ring' call from this number. Didn't ring through long enough to go to voicemail.

Searched and found this site. Presume it's a scam. Thought it might be that 'one ring scam' that's been floating around, but the area code didn't match up.

Keep receiving calls from this number.. I'm on the do not call registry - so annoying.

Called, left no message.  I never answer a number I do not recognize.  My phone is on the do not call list and is updated every year. I do not shop at Target.
