The do no call list is a joke.  These idiots called my cell # & I've updated it on the do not call registry every year for the past few years.  I keep filing complaints using the do not call website but figure its mostly just to make me feel better as nothing is ever done against these companies.

My husband and I both received calls for a "vacation offer" from this number on our mobile phones. We are on the Do Not Call Registry and shouldn't be receiving these calls!!!!!!

Google has servers set up that can be used in a manner that allows you to identify the owners of the number that called you.
Google has no control over what those who own the number do.

Hey dumbdick, please post the number of the bill that you claim was "defeated by the republicans."  I work for a Democratic Congresswoman and in my 11 years, there has never been such a bill. Furthermore, if spoofing is outlawed, do you really think that the maggot criminals that call our homes multiple times a day trying to steal our credit/money/identities will abide by it?  There are thousands of gun laws on the books but amazingly, people still shoot other people with guns every day.

How do you expect accountability when no one can trace who is calling you?  The only way to get these guys is to buy whatever they're selling.  And half the time they're not selling anything, just looking for your credit card number.

There was a bill in Congress at least 6 years ago to outlaw spoofing.  The Republicans defeated it.  As usual.  At odds with real working Americans.

Must not be trying too hard any more, as they didn't even wait for voicemail to pick up.

People...people... don't you realize these fools who call like this are phishing?  All they want to know is that someone will answer the phone!  Then they sell the info, or confirm to whomever hired them, that it is a working number of someone who 'OWES'!

Change your number and make it 'unlisted' in perpetuity; give it to no one but the trusted, else with a legal caveat. Get 'caller block ID' on your line and don't answer the phone unless you can ID the caller.  Your lives will be much more quiescent!

Same as all of you, I received call from this scamer disregard my phone number is inside DoNotCall.  Regarding the 'incompetent' for FTC, please check with Internet for scaming calls then you will surely confirm with this word.  I am most suggest, beside file a complain to DoNotCall but also file a complain to your congresses express your concern of our tax money at FTC.

If there is a law that allows them to operate, there should at least be guidelines that don't allow them to call before 9:00 a.m, during the dinner hours of 6:00 to 8:00 and after 9:00 p.m.
That ought to fix the problem.

Have been receiving calls from this number for the last month at all hours-  It's apparently some sort of vacation promotion, I think they're scam artists, and not actually related to Disney-

I block their numbers after a couple of tries on their part but the list is getting so long I cannot block them all. Can you believe it? And I've called the donotcall.gov AGAIN to make sure my number was on the list.
It is so frustrating.

Multiple calls and hang ups with no messages.

When I called the number, there was a recording stating Disney has not sponsered nor authorized a call from this number.

Called at 12:23 a.m. and woke me up.  We are on the "do not registry" but these people continue to call day and night.

Got a call at 12:30 a.m., also claiming to be a Disney promo. I called the Atty. General's Office of Consumer Affairs in Mass., and they said they've had lots of calls about this. These are most likely NOT telemarketers, but scammers, who do not abide by laws that regulate telemarketing. She also said not to engage in any way, not to press any keys and not to call back, because that just confirms they got a valid number and that increases likelihood of getting even more calls. She also said the numbers they are calling from are probably spoofs (not the number showing on the caller ID).  She did encourage me to report to the FCC Do-not-call-registry.
