I got a similar call from the same number- only I was told (by a robot of course) to get ready for fun in the sun....I hate these calls- I get charged for them and the do-not call list is a joke!!!!

I also just remembered:
I got a call on September 26, 11:04 PM, Eastern time from this landline. (the reason why I remembered just now is because I received another call today in the middle of class).
I woke up, very bothered, saw the numbered, picked up the phone about to tell the person that they had the wrong number, but I instead heard a very scary, disturbing, message. The background noise was all shuffled, and it was lower quality audio, but two words crept out of the static: "Hello... Sam..."
The line went dead.
I have never shared my phone number online, EVER. This person is probably not any of my friends, because only a few friends of mine know my phone number, and I know that they didn't call me because this phone I have was a new one at the time, and only about three of my friends knew the number.
Could you guys do something? Anything? This has been bothering me, seeing the fact that they know my REAL name, which I barely post online.

There has been a phone call from this land line around times now. Once at night, and once just today right in the middle of class. I don't know who they are, because I have never been to Florida, nor have I ever met anyone from Florida

I'm guessing this is a scan call to see if someone answers. Later I got a Robo call about some BS about my credit card. Anyone know how to block future Robo Calls from these As..hol...es?

It would be interesting to know if all of us receiving calls today had accounts in common, for example Comcast, Sprint, JCPenney, or whatever... Someone may have sold information to these "telemarketers"-- too bad we aren't organized to figure this out! For now I'll hope it is just a telemarketing call but in reality, since we are mostly on the DNC registry, it is probably illegal or illegitimate calling. And because I didn't mention it, I got my call today 30 October 2013.

It left a message supposedly saying I won a free 'getaway', gives a claim number and says to press '1' to be transferred to a representative.
