Received a call from this number on 6/5/12 at 3:51pm BUT NOTE that it was preceded by a "11" indicating that it originated from OUTSIDE THE USA. Definitely not legit but you smart folks already know this. Warn your friends and family not to pick up any call like this and DON'T CALL BACK. Today, ABC is reporting a widespread scam originating in call centers in India where the caller threatens you with illegal debt collection strategies including a threat that you will be arrested at work that same day unless you pay up. The person who has this phone has no control over who is being called. I was informed that the people who are getting the call from this number are also getting similar calls from other numbers.
You are on a list somewhere, but the owner of 407-947-2582 is not the person calling you. the number was taken and being used through something called Spoofing.

Its not your boyfriend. it was a scam. Its called spoofing someone calls you and they make it seem like the call is coming from a different number.
It was a scam to try and sell you some bogus Disney tickets.

There is no Severn Trent person. Severn Trent is the name of a global company. The phone number was hacked by a scam company. I work with the person who has this phone number 407-947-2582. He started getting a call every 20 seconds from people claiming that they had received a call from his number. We had to change the number.
It's called Spoofing - they make it look like they are calling from a different number - Our number was showing up on the caller ID for all of these people.
It was a scam.

This number showed up on caller id when I was online (they only heard ringing) and it showed missed call. I called it back from my cell and reached "the number is not in service". Name showed Severn Trent SE

Another spoofing number and the government does nothing about it. Something has to change.

i have been recieving phone calls from this # for at least 2 months...i have an ex boyfriend who lives in orlando so i assumed it was him, but when i call the number back it say " the teletphone number you are trying to call is temporarily out of service".....what do u guys think? solicitor or my ex?

11:01 Monday AM....Just got a call, but didn't answer. They left no message. Says "Severen, Trent SE." I am getting SO SICK of crap robocalls! I feel like going ballistic and filing a formal complant. These companies that disregard the Do Not Call policies should be brought to justice.

This number is discussed by a person familiar with this number on another website's forum (http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-407-947-2582). It sounds like this is some sort of hijacked phone number and the owners of the number are currently working on resolving the issue.

Trent Severn SE my caller ID reported is associated with this number.  I have no other information to share.

these people continue to call my cell phone and home phone.  when i asked them to stop calling me, the girl slammed the phone down on me.  make them stop!!!

Don't usually do it, but I called this number back mistaking area code for that of a dieing relative.  Got a very abusive woman who overused the "F" word and said I was being charged a huge number of bucks per second for the call...Perhaps there is a Mrs. Severn Trent?

They are using his phone number to call all sorts of people all over the US, they are most likely trying to sell some fake deal. It is for sure not us. It started yesterday in the afternoon. people calling his cell phone claiming that they just received a call from this number.

Never give your info over the phone to a strange number EVER!

This is a company phone line, I work with the guy who has this phone line. He is a victim of sppofing. They are selling something it is a SCAM! DO NOT give them your info. Do not answer!!! It is a scam!!!!
We have been getting calls about every 20 seconds from people saying we called them.

Voice recorded message says I have just won a trip to the wonderful world of Disney, which doesn't mean its a trip to Disney, but I suspect to the 'area' around Disney.  No thanks.  Number is now a part of my spam list.

I have a phone with a built-in amplifier for the hearing impaired. If I mistakenly put it face down it generates a very loud feedback signal which might motivate the caller to not call again. What do you think?

Just got a call from these guys.  Caller ID said Severn Trent SE.  Marketing company in Florida trying to sell vacation packages.  When I called the number back it sounded like a residential answering machine.

Call from 407-947-2582, "Trent S___" at 7:07 AM. No Message. But ah, this number is in Kissimmee, FL: home of one of the most famous boiler rooms in the USA. Put on Call Block, to spare Trent's vocal cords.
