They sell handyman services like painting and furnace cleaning. They go by several names. My # is on Fed. do not call list but they still call. I asked them not to call but they won't stop. Finally I asked them to send a guy out for an estimate. When he arrived I took a pix of his car & license plate. Asked him for his ID and he refused. Told him to go back and tell his company not to call any more and he got really angry. They still call. One of the guys I work with said he wanted air duct cleaning. The guy came out with an estimate and took a $20 deposit but nobody ever showed up to do the work. My buddy called the police and they said lots of people are getting scammed this way.

I got another call from 408-214-2031. He just said, 'hello, may I speak to mr rz'. And then he just hung up. He has done that again and again. His voice sounds like he's a caucasian guy. And looking at this list here, he repeats that frequently.

Called multiple times. Informed them that they were lying about having done my duct work.  Same voice keeps calling me back.

Air Duct Cleaning, again. They just don't understand what "DO NOT CALL" means.

Reporting them does NO good, if it did they would be out of business.

I have received multiple calls from other numbers using the same rip-off pitch.

I've given up reporting these scams so I just block them.

Just received a phone call from 408-214-2031. The caller didn't self identify himself. Simply said "Miss G? Miss G?"  Once I asked "who's calling", he hung up immediately.
Very suspicious. Most likely a scam.

Received a call from 214-2031 concerning cleaning my furnace ducts.  They said they installed my furnace some years ago and were offering a $49 special cleaning service to keep my furnace running efficiently.  Then I saw this site and tried to call back the caller id number displayed.  It said it was disconnected.  I believe it may be a scam.  When I checked back in my records the company they claimed they were, was not who installed my furnace.

Finally banned them with my jcblock device, 4 recent calls with no previous history.

Received call today and reported to Donotcall.gov

Sorry to say, but the police won't be of any help unless the telemarketer is threatening you. I've called the police on one telemarketer a year ago who kept calling me every half hour on my business line. This is because I used some choice words on the first call to the telemarketer. I called my local police agency to report the malicious activity, but I was told that a telemarketer "has the right to call." Unless the telemarketer is making personal threats to you or someone in your family, there's nothing the police will do. And you'll just have to have a more proactive plan in dealing with these loser crooks.

I'm wondering if this is the "Rachel from Carpet Care" scam machine fired up once again.

A word to the wise: Never fall for the grandiose claims of any company claiming that your ductwork is contaminated and needs to be cleaned. It's one of the greater scams pulled by many crooked contractors out there.

Just got a call from this number stating they are Indoor Air. Strangely they knew my name and asked for my ethnicity. as soon as i told them they said they had the wrong number and hung up. weird why they would want to know my ethnicity. When we tried calling back it was a fake number. am reporting the call to the police.

Same as other people.  No one there and number has been disconnected.  How did they call in the first place and we've had numerous calls from them?  You can hear voices in the background.

Got a call from this number yesterday, no name listed on caller ID. Said he was calling about the furnace service we had done 8 years ago in 2005 and wanted to come do service now.  Funny thing is, we did call PG&E for a furnace checkup in 2005. Somehow they got the information from a PG&E request 8 years ago. But if this guy wants business smart mouthing and insulting the potential customer does not win any points or business.

Just got a call from this person and he asked in a nice way - I could not recognize your name - from which part of the world are you from. Like a fool I told my ethnicity. He knew my name too. Should I go to the police?

No one is on the other line. Called back and it is busy signal or the response is "the # has been disconnected"

This whatever called again, I still refuse to answer.

A group calling themselves "Air Duct Cleaning Services" have called on eight different numbers since late last year. No sooner do I block one number than the same pitch starts up on another number. If the pitch is the same I assume it is the same source.

If you don' recognize a number, don't answer.

I got a call twice yesterday and once today.  First call I told them I wasn't the person they were asking for and they hang up.  Then they called again at night and I went ahead and talked to them.  They told me that they cleaned my furnace years ago and it was time to do again. I told him that they never did that service for us. ... and again they hung up.  Today another call and yes... another hang up when I told them I was not the person they r calling for.  These ppl r so rude. I hope they call again so I can tell them off!!!!!

I get calls all the time from this number. Never a message and no one on the other end.

BTW, just tried to call the number back which reflected on my caller ID (408-214-2031), it tells me to check the number, it's no longer in service.

7/23/13 4:25 pm - I rec'd a phone call from this number today and he said he was with a furnace company and they cleaned and certified our furnace last year.  I said, "no you didn't." (We have a particular company we deal w/ that's been in business for 30+ yrs).  When I told him "no you didn't," I honestly thought I had misunderstood the name and he'd come back and tell me, yes, blah, blah...blah.  Instead, he just hung up.  Scam! Busted!!

Spanish sepaking heating and air conditioning company. Woman hung up. Squeaking doors in the background. called them up but the number was disconnected. scum bags.

It called me a couple days ago. Looked for owner. Asked me how old i was and asked when to call back.

Called this morning. Voice mail answered. No message left.

I think that person is tricking you so he can go to your house. I think it is Gaotian Ye, the email hacker or Hannah Ye, his sister.

It's a furnace cleaning company didn't quite catch the name, but it was ADR or something similar. They called me today & told me they cleaned my furnace for me in 2010 and that it was time to do it again. I don't even have a furnace. Caller ID shows San Martin, CA
