These guys call and leave messages just repeating the owners name again and again few times. They call in the afternoon

I keep receiving calls daily from (408) 264-2636, 2646, 2672, 2719, and 2547 (more recent calls first).  I only got a live person to talk to me twice.  The first time I asked them to stop calling.  The second time the guy hung up on me as soon as it sounded like I was complaining.  I contacted A1 Solar Power corporate office at (855) 410-4700 and eventually spoke to the "receptionist" who said that the National Renewable Energy Center handled their telemarketing and I should contact them at (877) 593-2995.  So far, unable to get through at that number.  Go figure.

the 2672 number has been calling multiple times of day for at least a month, possibly more, usually hanging up if answered. Yesterday I did get someone on the phone who was very aggressive and insisted that they were required to continue calling until they booked an appointment, some BS about "coming to your house to inform you about your electricity savings options as required by law". I thought my insistence that I knew this was bogus and was going to look into legal action might have shut it down, but they're calling again today. It's torture.

This call is from A1 Solar Power, a solar company based in Van Nuys, California (with six branches throughout the state: San Diego, Costa Mesa, Carpenteria, Petaluma, Concord, and San Jose) or one of its telemarketing fronts.  

A1 Solar Power?s telemarketing fronts usually spoof both the Caller-ID name and the Caller-ID number.

They call me every day and noone on the other side

This is yet another Harassing  barrage of phone calls from "California Solar Initiative" You cannot get them off them phone. I asked several times to be removed from the call list. They call everyday, at least 3-5 times a day starting at 7:30am. Latest call I got was at fricking 9pm. These people are representing a government agency. Aren't we protected from these types of things by our government... Please stop them!!!!

 This is a scam solar company that continually harasses people even after continually being told to STOP.
They will call up and say they are with PG&E to hoodwink you into thinking they are legitimate.  Other times they say they are with Obama's energy saving program--total B.S.   They come up with different phone numbers that will show various names for recently canceled phone numbers.  For example, "Beveridge, Drew," or "Bruck, Scott," or "Stottrup, C.
I block them and they just come up with new phony names and phone numbers.  How do we stop these A-Holes???

Calls multiple times daily, never leaving messages.

Now they are saying it is Victor, and he is representing PGE.  These people do not quit.

Spoofed number that has tried to call a landline at our office for a couple of weeks now, sometimes more than once a day.

If the answering machine picks up, they leave no message.

If you answer, a person (who does not identify themself) asks "Is this Mr. / Mrs." [last name of person the phone you answered is registered in], if you say "No" or offer to take a message, they immediately hang up. When you try to call back, the phone company message says "this number has been disconnected or is not in service". Caller ID claims the name of the caller is "Beveridge, Drew", but that's probably fake.

Last time they called, one of us answered: "We know you are a scammer. Stop calling." and hung up. It remains to be seen whether they will call again.

I work from home some days, and I've gotten these calls. They seem to have escalated in variety and frequency in the last several month. Sometimes more than once in a day, and multiple times a week. I get them from 408-264-2646 / 2547 / 2442, but I've also received calls form other numbers, though the above one is most frequent. Lately, they've been hang-up calls; even if I pick up on the first ring, no one answers. If this happens, can this be considered harassment of some sort? Has anyone taken legal action and have it actually work?

Call blocker is your best bet.

So what gives with this site - do you do anything legal or contact these jerks to actually get them to stop?  If not, how do I BLOCK their number and who do I contact to get some real action?  I am not big on just complaining - this is illegal and they need to STOP!

Called after a previous call from  408-156-2323 that asked for the lady of the house by Mrs. ***** and hung up when a man answered.

I'm on the do not call registry and they are calling my cell phone from 408-264-2646.
When you call the number it says it is disconnected.

Been calling me from different numbers. Basically I get a call, answer it and I hear a whirring noise. I block that number. Then I get the call from a different number.

408--264-2646  This moronic energy/solar company constantly calls us and masks their number with false identifiers such as "Drew Beveridge" or "David Bruck."  We have told them numerous times to stop calling and they only increase, coming up with new fake caller ID names.  Now we are going to take legal action.
