Who are these people and how did they get my cell number.  They never leave a message and when I pick up there is no one there.  How do I stop them from calling?

tells me they have " important personal business " that's all. They call once a day.

calls everyday, when i answer the phone takes a few second to answers just leaves a message saying to call back because they have an important message.

I downloaded my credit report yesterday from Equifax. Not even 10 minutes later collection calls from this number began for some guy I never heard of. We have the same last name in common. That's it.

I just got a call from this number on EASTER! I have gotten many messages from this number, but just ignore it. I am constantly getting collection calls for a man I have never heard of! I CANNOT believe even on EASTER they called!

Follow-up:

I submitted a complaint to the BBB about the calls.  They finally stopped, and the company replied to my complaint: "We have contacted the manufacture of telephone equipment to investigate as to the reason the number 408-284-4350 failed to respon as programed."  No real apology for the almost daily calls since August.  I recommend that if you are having problems with this company, complain here: www.bbb.org.

call every day once or twice. I have told them I just got the number, thus am not the person they are looking for, but they continue to call. I have been told i will be taken 'off the list' but clearly this has not happened.

this the 3rd time someone has called.  I do not call back, because I do not know who the caller is.

I get calls every morning...I was asked to press 0 to talk to an operator...One woman came on line and asked to speak to Miranda. I explained it was a wrong number and absolutely no apologies....lets see, if I get the call tomorrow...I will report this if I get it again. Has this got something to do with an article I read a few weeks back about "Do not call list expiring soon"

Yeah, got a call yesterday and they were looking for somebody else, told me they'd "take me off the call list"

Recorded call, no id of the "company" gives # to call or press "0" to speak with some @hole. I wrote down the number and goo'ed it, which leads me to here.

I don't owe anybody squat - and telemarketers are lower than pond scum but still below car dealers and car sales managers.

I'd say these types of calls are harassment. If you get these calls do whatever it takes to put these scum-of-scum maggotts out of business.

Short messages, mid-day, no message other than a phone number.

Left 3 voicemails but when I called back, didn't get through after waiting for 1 min.

Numerous phone calls received but no messages left. When I answer, no one is on the other line

I called this number back and asked the person what affiliation she was from. She stated would only tell me if I revealed my phone number. Told her I would report the number to the better business bureau.

No message, just repeat calls...
