was on my land line -- ID was "California" -- automated caller left me a mssg about my mortgage  . . .  rates . . . i dunno what else . . . i could have, if i had been here, pushed a number to 'get off the list' (hah -- all that ever does is get them to call the next day, since they then know they have a live body at the other end!)(i hate these calls -- of course i am on the "Do-not-call" list . . .   aren't we all?)

They call my home number EVERY SINGLE NIGHT around 6:00pm....caller ID says, Morgan Hill, CA.  When I answer, they hang up and they don't leave a message.  Infuriating.  I too am on the DO NOT CALL list.  How do they get away with this?

Works for me.  I have a Panasonic also.  Great to be able to block numbers.

same thing here, really annoying. My solution: I went to frys and replaced my home phone with a panasonic kxtg6641. It has built in call blocking by number  (lots of the newer phones now have this feature too). So now they can call me till christmas and they won't get through. I figure if you want something done, do it yourself. I have a couple dozen numbers in my BLOCKED CALL list and it seems quite effective. Not sayin you have should go buy a new phone to solve your issue, but I got tired of waiting for the government to step in and did this myself and it sure works well...

my solution: I bought a panasonic tg6641 home phone. It has built in CALL BLOCKING by individual number. Now anytime I get a jack*** call I save it in my BLOCKED CALL list and they can call till christmas and I don't care. Not sayin' you should buy a new phone, but it was the simplest solution for me. IF you want something solved, do it yourself...

Filed a complaint. I think the more people will file a complaint, the more chances we have to stop them.

This is a pre-recorded message from the utility company.  I hung up the phone as soon as I heard who was calling me ... so don't know the full context of the message.  I am on the "do not registry" but I continue to get calls all the time.

Caller ID says "California"  left no message

I've received multiple robo-calls from this company, reminding me about some utility programs.  When I try to call back, I get another robot telling me that I cannot make this call.....

calling several times a day. not leaving a message.  is this harrassment? Caller ID just says "California"

Junk calls. How do we get them to stop? They phone 5 or 6 times a week.

3 times in 3 days. Opted out and  I am on the do not call register.  Reporting the number.

8 calls in the last 30 days. No message left.
There seem to be several similar "utility reduction" callers, this one is the newest.

Is it possible that this is exempt from do not call?

We are on the do not call list. This morning was the second day they have called.

Yep, ID read "California"; UtilityReductionProgram.org. I'm on the Do Not Call List. I filed a complaint. These idiots don't stop calling!! I'm not even with a utility company; city owned!

caller ID said California..... they called, hung up without leaving a message. I keep all ringers off these days, my land line and cell phone. These scumbags have forced me to no longer turn my phone ringers on.

Have gotten numerous calls from this number , they do not leave a message. I believe this to be a telemarketer
