Got a call this morning 8am - long pause, no talk on my VM. Given what I read here, most probably stupid life insurance companies like AIL or Bankers trying to scam me. Just posted my resume on Monster, so they probably dredged the site and had their recruiter bug me even though I have no experience or interest in selling their D- rated insurance. Typical.

I missed a phone call from this number this morning at 9:18am P/T. The caller did not leave a voice message which is unusual for first time business inquiries. A professional company would have left a message. When I called back at 6pm, I was immediately routed to a voice mail box that said something like "You've reached Jeffery Scott from Bankers Life and Casualty Company." The speaker did not sound clear because he rushed his words and he had a heavy accent. Here's what I found online: http://www.bankers.com
This caller is a recruiter in search for insurance salespeople. You guys are right, I posted my resume on Monster too!

Thanks for the note. Pretty much same for me. He said he got my resume from online and interested to talk to me for one hour interview on next week. I put in his number to search and see what kind of opportunity it is and found the note posted by you guys.

I got a call since number was not familure I did not answer and it went to vmail and person left a message saying I am calling from the bankers and is intrested to talk to me about possibiltiy of job. then left me a 408 3373533 number and name Jeffry Scott name , I call the number it says the person is not available and then it says call another time there is no room left for message to leave.

got a call this morning at 8:30; didn't recognize the number so i let it go to voicemail. haven't listened to the voicemail yet, but i did recently post a resume on Monster (as well as a number of other sites). however, since i just got an email this morning welcoming me to Monster (part of the hotjobs migration?), i can't imagine it's a coincidence.

A man with thick Indian accent said he has my resume. I started getting calls like these after I signed up for a retail job posting site. Sites like Monster and Snag are OK but other sites are just phishing. I got messages from insurance companies and banks (supposedly) and I have no experience in those fields on my resume. SCAM.
