This number keeps calling me telling me that if I do not call them back they will send police to my place of residence and if I am not home they will come to my house. They claim that I will be arrested and have to go to court for a crimial matter, which never have been in trouble before! Does anyone know who it is?

I got a call, they refuse to give any information. Just kept saying the police would come for me. Got angry and hung up on me repeatedly. Now it goes right to voicemail with a message they can not accept more messages. Called my Cell phone company and they said they will report it to the FCC. Anyone out there do the same.
The message was from a Cathy Martin, but when I called I talked to some other man who would not give me his name or the name of the company, just said it was called "Crime Office".
Such a HUGE Scam.

this company has called my place of work and has been harrassing me regarding some bogus crime they have told me I have done.  Saying to give my lawyer a call and that I owe over $5000 to someone.  This is a scam.  They clame they are the Crime Office.

My fiance just got a call from a guy named "ralph" from the number 408 404 3840. They said that they needed to hear from him or his lawyer NOW. When I called back pretending to be his lawyer, they said that they needed me to give them his Social Security Number and his bank account number so they could look up his information. THIS IS A SCAM. They kept hanging up on me and my fiance as well. They called his job and our home saying they would send police if we didn't call back and give them the information.

My brother got the same call from this number from a guy named Adam McKenzie- had a heavy Indian accent. His message said that my brother or his lawyer better get back to him. I called back and *67 my number, and a guy with an Indian accent picked up and said "What do you want?" in such a harsh tone. So yeah, these guys are scamming. We're actually gonna contact the FBI and the FTC since these people are claiming creditors.

This place is calling me and my work, last month it was a different number, but same scam. Called police, but not much they can do. Will write to my congressman next, there needs to be a law against this kind of harrasment.

I had the same kind of call saying I owe 502.87 and that if i didnt pay them that in 1 or 2 hours that the police would be at my door to pick me up and i would be charged 3or4 thousand dollars. the 2 guys names that I dealt with are ryan cruz and jacob reed. 1 408 404 3840. I told them I was calling the attorney generals office because they were harrassing me and then he hung up on me then a few minutes later I tried to call back and HHHHMMMMMMM I couldnt get through any more they blocked my number. I think they got nervous.

I got the same thing. I've gotten several calls from the same guy (he doesn't usually give a name, but I can recognize him by his accent) from different numbers. This time he claimed to be a lawyer named Jacob Lee.
How does one go about filing a police report?

Same call here from this #, second time in a week now, also got one about a month ago from 916 #. I filed a complaint with the FTC on the 916#, everyone else needs to do the same for it to stop. These scum use names like Sean Woods and Douglas Brown, come on, obviously those are bogus names!

I got the same message on my home phone, at work, & he even contacted one of my friends that I had used as a personal reference. What can I do to stop this type of threat?

It is a scam and I have had similar phone calls lately, all from people who are obviously foreign with very heavy Indian accents.

So, I called the number and I *67 my number so that these guys can't see my number, a guy with an Indian accent answered, "What do you want?" in a harsh tone. Now if memory serves me right, if they were with any type of law enforcement or creditors- the phone would be answered professionally. So, my brother and I are gonna head to the FBI Office and talk to them.

ya this happen to us today and we called the bank and everything and they said there has never been an account im going to file a police report

I got same call , I knew it fraudulent right away . They said I took out a payday loan in 2009 and are calling a phone number I recently got in 2010 . So I figured it couldn't be real . There are really stupid people out there.

The same here they got really pissed off at me when i would not give them my social security number started yelling at me and hung up the phone

Here's another number fro, someone who can't speak english, threatening some legal action and wishing me good luck as it "on folds to you"..they don't ever stop and call from different numbers.

the lastest was 408-404-3850.

Yesterday they called from a 913 areacode and today from a 916 and left this 408 area code number
