received call at 1511 today. subject said Hello twice then hung up

just rec call this evening 8:50pm- from a male speaking broken english-said he wasn"t a telemarketing call-but he was calling from south america-transfered call to the dial tone.

I recieved many calls from this phone number and others - this same company with rude indian man.  Last call for smoke detectors. Some BS to break the ice and to let you know you were entered for a BIG PRIZE!  LMAO ok I said when I win just send it to me.  He was rude - said he was contracted by our Govt. to do surveys on smoke detectors.  Then OH BOY I was entered for a prize too!  Sounds like our Govt. allright.  LMAO.  THIS IS NOT A MARKETING CALL HE SAID - that's right because it's for a fishing scam.  The phone number is listed for a telemarketing company in San Jose California area.  I BET OUR SSN NUMBERS ARE CROSSING THE BORDER DOWN THERE DAILY!  Don't fall for this crap.  They will call you very often.  If they don't get the information they want from you - It's a great bet they will call you again soon and try again.

Just got a call from this number and i didnt said a word and some guy said hello two times n hung up...i have been receiving call from this number and if i dont answer they do not leave voice mail....

Just got a call from a very rude Indian man. I told him I was not the person he was looking for and then told him I'm on the do not call lost and he had the nerve to questioned about what register number I have on there. He wanted to know of I had smoke detectors I told him not to call again

Got a call from them and they wanted to do a short over-the-phone survey regarding Smoke Detectors and Fire Safety at our house. Lasted about 2 minutes and he said some info about calling back but couldn't really make out what he said!

They called my fax. Did not send me a fax. Must be a scam artist.

received a call on my answer machine.   if this is a call center..........do not call again.

Rec'd call from this number, did not recognize, so I let it go to the answering machine.  I could hear call center noises in the background before they hung up.
