If you were their customer they can call for up to 18 months even if you are on the DNC list.  However, if you tell them not to call and they continue, you may be able to sue for harassment depending on the laws in your state.  If indeed it is a business you previously used and a verbal request to stop calling is not honored, you can send a "cease and desist" letter by Certified Mail, Return Receipt demanding they stop calling you at your number.  You would probably need the corporate headquarters address to send your demand letter to.  If they fail to honor that request you can sue for I believe $1500 per call but you must keep records of dates and times of the calls and perhaps hit *57 to record their number with your phone company.  You can then use the phone company records as proof in your lawsuit.  You will probably need an attorney to proceed via the lawsuit route.

I just got a call from this no # also but it was a hang up...

I called this number back and it was a recording for direct TV.  "Please stay on the line to hear how we can win you back!"  No thanks.

STOP CALLING

This is the second phone number Direct TV has called from claiming they want me as a returning customer; they can not take NO for an answer; was told it will take 7 days to take my number off the calling list; tired of this company calling everyday, since the New Year.

Another POS from DT. Is there any law to stop these crooks?

DirecTV "Win you back" call, I am a prior DirecTV customer.

Had Direct TV, got rid of it and Cinnati Bell for internet.  Since then have been getting phone calls from the above number, as well as snail mail peading for me to return.  If the service would have been good, I might consider, but seems it wasn't, won't be!  On the do not call list, but apparently that doesn't work.  Also, if they can't leave voice mail on my cell phone, I'm sure not going to call them back to see what they want.

Direct TV telling me they are calling about a disconnection notice which I do not have! Telemarketer... After I told them I don't have a disconnection notice they then said the had a great offer for me... I hung up!

This number being from the Bay Area (I knew by the area code), was puzzling me..thinking it might be someone I know, having lived in San Jose most of my life. I am glad to know this is just another DirecTV number that I can also ignore! They are just downright ANNOYING! Good riddance!

Calls every day, annoying, please help!

Direct TV has called me everyday 3 times a day for 2 weeks.  MAKE IT STOP

I do not want this person to call me. If i do not know you i do not answer so please stop calling!

Direct TV demanding I pay for a receiver I haven't returned. Why hasn't it been returned? Because I've called THEM THREE TIMES to ask for it and they never send it. CRAPPY COMPANY

2 days in a roll - no message

I receive at least 1 call a day from this # with no message. Sometimes as many as 3 a day

4 out of 5 nights a week, close to 9:00pm I receive a call from Direct TV. Most of the time it is a recording. Tonight I picked up the call and a person actually asked for me by name. I no  longer have Direct TV. As soon as I confirmed my name he hung up on me. I wanted to let him know to STOP calling me. I called the # back and they were closed for business!

I just don't know how to make direct TV stop calling me. Too aggressive marketing

I do not want to go back to them.  If they wanted me, they should have worked with me in the first to match Dish.

I have several calls from "them"  NCO financial Systems.....DEBT collection company.
