I WOULD LIKE FOR THESE TELMARKETERS TO STOP CALLING MY NUMBER. ERASE MY NUMBER FROM THEIR RECORDS!

TELEMARKETERS LOOKING TO CONSOLIDATE YOUR DEPT

I have had that number twice and I am also on the do not call list.

This is a scam.  Do not give out your credit card.  I waited for someone to answer and they don't!

Same , called no message

Why must people with nothing else to do waste so much of other peoples time?

I didn't answer the phone  - didn't recognize the area code - my cell phone number is known by very few people so I presumed it was not up to any good

call them back and they will give you the choice of opting out of future calls.  I just did this, hope it works.

Got a call today. No message left.

Same thing, I'm in Vancouver Canada. No message left has called before

same thing, didn't answer-no message. I am saving these numbers as scam numbers in my phone to see if they call back. then I don't answer. I heard that if you answer and hit * # 0, * # 0, * # 0 then if it is a robo number it kicks you number out of their system thinking it is a bad number. worked for a while but they came back two fold. also had thoughts of recording a fax machine and playing that when they call.....

It called here and did not leave a message so they know we would not call back.  

We have no connections to California, and no debt issues.  Likely a telemarketer or a phishing scam, and one operating on a wide scale.

This is a company that supposedly helps with credit card debt.  I am on the DO NOT CALL list and do not know why I am receiving these calls.  This is not a charitable organization.

Just got the call but they did not leave a v-mail.  Im in Missouri

I just got a call from this number and the caller didn't leave a message.  I have reason to believe River Elk Services/SSM Group LLC is behind this scam.  If they're not making UNAUTHORIZED deposits into your bank account, they're withdrawing money from your account without your permission or getting other people to harass you with phone calls and trying to scare you with threats of having you arrested and even falsely accusing you of taking out loans or owing on loans you've already paid off.

Just got a call from this number (I'm in Nova Scotia) - think it's a first for this # as I don't recall seeing that area code before.  I did not answer - they did not leave a message.

I don't know how they got my cell phone number
in short they offered to settle my credit card debts, even though I don't own any credit cards
I'm 19 and still in school and only have a debit card

The caller offers help  with credit card debt.  
The caller claims that under the newly formed bank act they can help.

Just got a call from this number no message. I did recognize the area code. I'm in Vancouver

I just got a call from them also and I am on the National Do Not Call list!  I pressed "1" to be connected to a live person and I could tell immediately from the guy's voice that he was calling from somewhere in the States. I asked him what company he was calling from and he said Consumer Debt Advocates.  I am in the process of filing a complaint with the CRTC and I would suggest you do the same thing if you are registered on the DNCL.

Just got a hang up call.  Pretty creepy, the person just sat on the line listening to my voice.  I hung up of course.

Just got one a few minutes ago - exactly the same message as related by Toronto above. I wasn't so understanding. Told them to "f-off"

Got this call today. Recorded message telling me I qualify for "hardship" help with visa bills and that they can wipe out credit card debt,or reduce it to 30-50 cents on the dollar. Also said they have the same program for master card and american express.  Am assuming this is a big time scam. Staying on the line would connect me to somebody so they could verify my "eligibility" so of course I hung up.

It is a company that offers to settle credit card debt - a bit scary - don't be giving out your credit card numbers over the phone everyone!!

I got the same thing now and I do know people in California but it was rather creepy. It was just a hangup...

Got the same thing. bell said it was made from my house and I dont even know anyone in CA

Must be a prank caller. If they are in usa, why would they call to canada?
