This number called me asking for someone whos name I forgot. When I said that he had the wrong number, he retorted something in a different language (he sounded Middle Eastern or from India) and hung up the phone abruptly.

Just got called from Virginia, guys from India most likely and when I pretended to be 16 he hung up. Seemed very suspicious after calling for my credit card information

Somehow they faked this invalid call-id. The number look valid and local to make people tend
to pick up. Anyway, out of curiosity, I picked up one time, and it was a "credit card debt reduction"
scam -- Caller with heavy Indian's accent, but insist that they called from "Cailifornia"

Got call from them almost daily for past week. I called back the number and it's an invalid number.
They faked the caller-id somehow. I pickup one time, the caller sounds from "India" but he swear
that he called from "California" and said his company can help me with my credit card debt (no idea
how they got the information).

This number has called my house phone several times, asking for my mom. When I say she's not here, may I take a message, they hang up. I called back and it said the number has been disconnected. What's up with that!?
