I received the same email today in response to my email to his craiglist for a rental house in Concord. It's a real house, that's whynhe said don't call the realtor on the sign posted on the house. It's for sale by some legitimate person as I drove by the house before I responded to the ad. It's been flagged and removed. He's going by the name Robert V. Schwartz this time. There should be a special place in hell for scammers like this. His response was so laughable that I'm saddened than anyone would ever fall for it, but I'm sure people do.

If you notice, you will discover that the price we are offering is far below standard price and I this is enough for you to know that we are not after the rental fee but the absolute care for the property. I know there is no way i can be sure that you are the right person to live in the house because we won't be able to see physical before sending you the keys and the documents to occupy the space. The house is available for as long as you want and if you drive by the house you may see a sign there, you have nothing to worry about it belongs to my previous agent so you have absolutely nothing to worry about and you don't have to call them because they do not have access to the house anymore. Please if you are ready now to occupy the house kindly provide the information below for record purpose :

Also when I called the number the first time there was a baby screaming in the back ground and loud rap music playing the number called me back several times and when I started asking questions the man would get upset and hang up. This is a total scam he wanted me to send prepaid cards too.

I found the exact same message for a response for a house in Napa, CA

He should be locked up in his fictional houses and the keys thrown away. What a disgrace to humanity.

I also received the same response, i didnt send any money and i never gave him my d.o.b he used the name Julian, as soon as i asked why his number was from CA he never responded back lol

Thank you so much for posting this. I also fell into this same trap (for Santa Clara, CA). Fortunately, we did not send him any money, since the way he wanted to receive the funds (through Pre-Paid Cards from Walgreens) seemed questionable.

Oh, and he used the name Daniel D Camacho.

I'm feeling so sick thinking about the scam... ugh.

This is the same person listing properties for lower rent amounts, You think they would change the story up for different areas of the country, 4 in the Nashua, NH area in 2 weeks! "If it seems to good to be true, it is!" BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also was in contact with this same person, except it was in Hayward. It was a 2 bedroom house. He was being very pushy about me sending him 900.00 dollars for the rent he said when he got it he would send me the keys and paperwork. My sister started investigating it and we found what you had wrote. I hope nobody else gets fooled.
