They Calll me all day who are they?

This number should stop calling peoples.

I received a call from 4085385102 at 6:03pm, 7:26pm, 8:02pm one day and 9:07am, 11:07am, and 12:07pm the next day. I never answered the calls and no voicemail was left. I am on the Verizon carrier. The number they called is my work cell phone.

The pennsylvania attorney general sued NCO financial back in 2006 for their tactics and business practices, NCO was ordered to pay $300,000 restitution

Lol can't believe I type this number in on Google and other people have this number call them. Sooo you guys having a hard time paying your Amazon Store Card too? I need to just send them a 20 once a month. I've gone 4 months without opening my bills that Im just too scared to look now. Why did I screw up!!!

they call all day every day!! this people wont let me even work in peace, or have a nice fishing day they even call me on this past holidays!!!!! even on father day, even thiough i have it on vibrate it forces me to pick it p since i dint know who it is or it might be an emergency..this people dont care....i answered and no one sasid anything.. i aint even gonna bother with this people any more... i cant suggest changing your number in my case its paypal and usbank.... i once changed my num, but for some reason they found out months later or it might had been due to me forgetting and putting up my new number....i had been fishing many times, i have my hands full of dirt and worns then i have to reach on my pocket to find out is one oif this stupid collectors....

Better yet; get magic jack and use that number to be contacted at. Never give your cell phone out as a contact number. Just don't bother hooking up the magic jack to a physcial phone... It is a great extra line for your satelite dish.

These people are sick. There is no name on the caller id.  I have just learned to type in their number and it is always NCO.  I am tired of them calling me.  I think they have called me 10 times today, from different numbers.  I am going to file a report with the Pennsylvania Attorney General about these creepy people.  There is no reason to call someone at their place of employment all day or at home this many times.  They are digusting.

These people are insane. They call whenever they please but don't leave a message. I never answer numbers I don't know and if there is no message left too bad I don't call back... Jokes on them.

HERE'S A TIP: For annoying frequent calls (ie debt collectors) to your cell phone you could save the numbers that call and assign them a unique ringer ID to ring as 'Silent'. So you'll get the call but it won't ring your phone and bother you. Then instead of getting annoyed or frustrated you can just laugh. Sure it seems they call from a million numbers but after a week or two you'll have them all saved and silenced. (ps. I ran into an old Nokia phone with no Silent setting so possibly you could just create your own ringtone with just of couple "pauses".)

They are a collection agency called NCO. They call at all times of day, and it's never the same person. They never communicate, or make call notations, so even if you speak to someone about a payment, 20 minutes later someone else calls. I just hang up the phone or hold the phone up to the tv or radio. I think it pisses them off, but I don't care, because they don't seem to care.

I receive these calls from NCO starting at exactly 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.  My husband and I lost our business, and yes we do owe alot of money on credit cards.  But we have no income coming in and we borrow from our kids.  I can't find a job , and we intend to file bankruptcy.. But in the meantime I do not know what to tell these people.  We have been unplugging our phone at night just to not be harassed.  They try to put you in a payment plan, but if you don't have moncy how are you going to do that.  I feel our government should step in on these people since to me its harassment.

I get a lot of these calls also, from the same number, they recall so much, it drives me nuts. What I dont understand is, if its so very very important that they had to recall so many times, then why dont they leave a message??? How wierd.

Another way to get rid of them is to just say they have a wrong number and deny that you are the person they are looking for. Then they will mark it in their files that they have a wrong number and not call you again. And of course yet a third way to get them to stop is to just pay the bill. :-/

Yep ppl, it's a debt collector: NCO. Just simply ask them to send you an itemized list of what you owe; they will say "yes" but will not be able to produce it. I mean, if you don't care about your credit. Not being sarcastic--if you owe 3 grand in hospital bills, it's pretty much worth it as the hospital cannot, by law, give out medical records to bill collectors. But this is just an example--I don't know what else they could be trying to collect for but they might do more than just medical/hospital bills.

This is NCO Financial. They call you ALL DAY LONG and up until 9pm at night. I had them call me at 7:58am once. I think they have an auto-dial system. I have NEVER seen a company call that many times in one day. Now, I'm used to it. Annoyed but its routine. I either hit ignore on my cellphone or just dismiss the 7-10 calls I get from them a day. I consider myself one of the lucky ones because they didn't call me Thanksgiving, christmas or new years. Other numbers they use:

I'm thinking about answering and not saying anything, screaming into the phone, making farting noises, acting really stupid, making them wait forever to speak with the person they are calling about, babbling jibberish into the phone like a baby, pushing a bunch of numbers when I pick up... etc.   Does anyone think that these tactics will get them to lay off? Like "caller insane, sounds like drunk baby," or "caller would not stop bodily functions?" If I can't get them to stop... maybe I can make them happen less often, or at least amuse myself while they continue to harass me.

call al the time, no message. If u answer they just say hello, hello, and do not identify themselves.  You called me!! Who are you hello, hello and hand up. Call back , it is music and wait for next avaliable representitive. 5,10, 20 min no answer.. Report to lawyer! Violation of FDCPA. And CARD act!!

I GET CALLED 8 AM TO 10 PM 2-6 TIMES A DAY BACK TO BACK 5-10 MINUTES APART, MONDAY THRU SUNDAY AND HOLIDAY, XMAS AND NEW YEARS DAY. THEY DO NOT GIVE A BREAK FOR ANY REASON. I HAVE AT LEAST 100 CALL A MONTH FROM THESE NO.S LISTED FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS. WHAT CAN I DO.

CALLS OVER AND OVER AGAIN ALL DAY LONG FROM EARLY MORNING TILL LATE AT NIGHT. NO MESSAGE IS LEFT.

I also received 3 calls from this number yesterday.  The first time they left a message..but it was a weird one with talking and noises in the background.  I thought maybe it was a child who accidentally called and I was hearing them get ready for school or something.  I missed the next call but they left no message at all.  The third time they called, I answered the phone and then they hung up.  That sounds weird for a collection agency..as I have seen most who get called from this number have stated.....I am not sure who or what the number is coming from...but wondering if it's a scam deal

I now block all numbers on incoming calls to my cell phone, with the exception of those in my address book.  Its becoming frustrating because Im waiting on calls back from doctor's office.

I sent NCO a certified letter yesterday to stop contact me.  So we shall see what happens with that next week when they get it.
