It was some guy that sounded more like a computer with aome charity about cops and keeping juveniles out of trouble. I told them there's no juveniles in this house and please stop calling

Answered thinking it was something else. No response, but decided to stay on the line to see what happened. After about 30 seconds some recorded message about police something or other. Caller ID simply said "San Jose CA". I live in Los Angeles.

I receive calls from this number every day. Since I do not recognize the number, I do not answer. When the calls go to my voice mail, no message is left. Needless to say, these calls are annoying. Check with your telephone service provider to determine if they have a Call Blocking feature. I do and I can block as many as 50 numbers. This has been of great help for us.
