Just got an unwanted text from this number telling me to email "dealsdirect"

I don't want to receive their msg again!

claim ur $200 gasVoucher and $20giftcard. This is rediculous and quite annoying, there seems to be no way to stop this.

I call the number ask for a supervisor and get told first time " I am manager...DONT WASTE MY TIME. CLICK".  I called back again I asked for a manager and the response is " WHY??? *CLICK*".  Tried for a third time and this time I get "sorry about that please hold...*click*'.  I am sure that this is some scam from INDIA I have texted FIN everty single time and still this is not resolved.  The so called email address is more confusing.  Good Luck!!!

I just got a text from this company that said call 877-676-5829 to claim ur 200. Gas Voucher and 20.GiftCard.I don't know how they got my phone number and don't know if its true or not but if it ain't that is wrong to do to people see gas is going up and the holidays are here.So if this is a scam something should be done about it.

Let's be careful here, Thomas Matthews may be innocent. I'm going by M's 10Nov2010 post that reads:

Since the scammer is instructing people to call 888-760-1214 (or 877-676-5829), he must be at these numbers to receive calls to convince targets to part with their credit card info - the toll-frees are the *real* scam channel. The scammer is *not* telling people to email him so 4086678435@emaildealsdirect is *not* a scam channel. Since the email address is within the message body (and why I picked M's post; it was verbatim), it's likely a valid but not-scammer address to add camouflage to confuse the overall picture. The scammer is trying to deflect blame onto TM who owns that domain because he's an easily locatable target while it's just about impossible to find out who owns toll-free numbers. The fact that the text Sender is shown as "(no name)  #3792" says the scammer has spoofing capability so everything not connected to the scam channel may be spoofed as well and innocent of any crime. Wouldn't hurt to call TM up and alert him to his domain being bandied about by a bloody scammer (though he can't stop it) and while I admit there is a tiny chance TM is behind the scam, I seriously doubt it - no scammer will hide behind spoofed sender names and toll-free numbers and then text you his *real* domain and include his phone number on his domain registration for all to see. Am quite sure TM is innocent and he should be held innocent until proven guilty.

this company constantly texts me messages about gas cards, walmart card etc.  I reply with FIN to have them stop but they ignore and continue

Ive gotten the message almost every day now since ive posted.  I called them back 10 times in a row and was hung up on everytime.  

So absolutely pissed.

stop sending text messages to this phone number. If not I will report this and all other messages to the State of Pennsylvania Attorney Generals office and your company will be fined. My number is 4848028489. This is a business phone and I will not accept any text messages on this phone now or ever.

I am sick and tired of receiving this message from this unknown number about winning some type of prize or gift card or even gas card. This need to come to a stop and for some reason they want you to call them at this alternate number 877-676-5829. How in the world do they continue to send out these text each and everyday? It need to stop and I get tired of deleting this text too.

they keeep textin me to.to get money.and u never get a response where do they get yr number from?

We got to figure out "how" this company is sending text message to our mobile device since it is from a 4-digit number (3737 for me, and it differs each time) instead of a 9-digit number. Is it from a website or e-mailing service? Any telecommunication expert can shine some light on this? Facebook updates use 6-digit number for their SMS. Does the number of digits tell how the sms is transmitted? Any computer wiz out there can answer this?

I re-registered my number on donotcall.gov after my conversation with the rude outlaw, but I am still receiving msg from this company to call 877-676-5829 to claim $200 GasVoucher and $20 GiftCard. Obviously, this company had found a loop hole for sms solicitation.

Ive been receiving this spam text for the last twom months, almost every other day from 408-667-8435@emailsdirect.com telling me to call 877-676-5829 to claim my crap. For a month I was opting out by replying FIN, END, and STOP, but to this day, I still am harrassed by them.  I called 10 minutes ago, and told them to remove me from their list and they've hung up EVERY time.  I am so bothered, I dont know what to do.

Got the same text from (417)423-7869

 Called on the:   16th, 3 x on the 17th & now on the 18th on Nov.

Have been recieving txt from this number for about 3 weeks. It gives the option to OPT out. But then another shows up the next day. Call your service provider anyone who gets these txts ASAP, I was also charged a 9.99 subscription fee for signing up for a service. The only thing I have done is apply for a job and now I'm getting these messages. T-Mobile also blacklisted it, but I just read it isn't on a blacklist yet.
I have yet to actually contact anyone from that number.

text msg received several times from 408-667-8435 # 3512. Called to request no more text msg's but couldn't get through.. Sick and tired of charges on my phone.

I got the same texts... OVER AND OVER AND OVER, it's getting to be annoying. Let me know if anyone has luck stopping these texts.

i just called again and said i had a prepaid visa and he said we dont except prepaid visa i said why its a credit card he said because we dont and hung up again on me so i called back and told him that the people that work there are very rude and im reporting them to better buisness burro

im not positive but pretty sure it is the same man answered three times and hung up on me when i asked questions and asked to speak to supervisor

i keep getting messages from the same things i called and the guy wanted a credit card i asked how he got my cell number he said when u use your credit card alot u get free gas card i said my credit card prepaid and i did not register my cell number so howd u get my number he hung up on me so i called back and told him its not professional to hang up he said sorry must have been a bad connection i asked to speak to a supervisor he asked why i said cause i want to he said please hold and hung up again so i called back and this time i hung up all three times it was the same man i talked to)

I have been receiving the same texts from the same #888-760-1214. I also tried to eradicate the situation but to no avail.Another # that keeps comming up on the text is 408-667-8435.Watch out for 973-943-4105. That seems to be part of this scam.
