I got a call from this number today at my place of business. A lady claiming to be from ATT telling me they were upgrading my internet speed. Before I had a chance to speak she abruptly hung up, almost as if someone walked in on her...hmmmmmm
| Chris 2011-06-06 20:48:16 Unknown |
Caller identified himself saying they had recently upgraded the lines in our area and noticed that we had the slow dsl. Another phone was ringing, so I asked him to hold for a moment and when I returned to that call on hold, he was gone.
We get these calls everyday............We have to fight A T & T every month when our billing comes in, as they have upgraded our DSL to a higher speed and naturally, more money. This has been going on for over a year. We have asked A T & T to remove us from their calling list as well as their "representatives". It has not stopped.
We are getting ready to report them. We have had enough!

408-689-5242 NCC ATT
888-929-3282 contractor for ATT
866-372-2088 Postal Comm
936-559-2200 E-Tech
All of the above are AT&T contractors looking to upgrade your dsl or try to "save" you money on your AT&T bill.
Do as PE ADAMS states call Stephenson's number and file complaints.
Stephenson is the CEO of AT&T ofc. #210-351-5401
I had fraudulently been signed up for 6.0 after firmly stating that I did not want it. And I have been repeatedly called for months after telling them to remove me from their list.
I filed complaints with Stephenson's office on 7/3/08 and 7/7/08 and have received 4 return phone calls from AT&T employees apologizing and stating that they are contacting all of the contractors to stop calling me and to investigate my multiple complaints that I filed against them.
Call and annoy them as much as you can. They will get the message.

I just called the main number and complained about this so called ATT. They told me that my DSL plan was going up because of new lines being installed. I told them NO it was not I'm under contract. They said I had no choice. WRONG! Then they hung up on me. I tried to call them back and was told someone would return my call. If you have any problems call the real people at ATT and complain: 1-866-620-6900

All of the above are sub-contractors for AT&T.
They are all a pain in my a**.
I have repeatedly asked them to remove my number and they keep calling.
Contact Randall Stephenson CEO of AT&T and complain.
210-351-5401 ofc.
rs2982@att.com
I contacted his office on 7/4/08 and again on 7/7/08 and I have received 4 return calls from separate AT&T offices in regards to my complaints. This appears to be the best way to stop them.

i think this could just be a case of scamming where someone is using AT&T's name to make them look bad. or someone working for at&t is giving out number to this scam place...i mean think about it. if someone stole any of your identity would you feel that you are responsible for anything done with it? no...exactally.

I AM IN SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO. THEY CALL MY NUMBER AT LEAST ONCE A DAY. WHEN I REDIAL, THEIR NUMBER RINGS FOR A VERY LONG TIME. TODAY I JUST LET IT RING AND WAS CONNECTED TO THE VOICE MAILBOX OF AN "ERIN MC CATHY." I LEFT A VERY STERN MESSAGE TELLING "ERIN" THAT IF I RECEIVE ONE MORE CALL FROM HER, I'M REPORTING HER TO THE SSF POLICE DEPARTMENT FOR HARASSMENT.
| JENN 2008-06-18 20:54:55 Unknown |
They call us all day too. we've filed a formal complaint W/ AT&T on these calls. Nothings happening. I hope AT&T dies in a fire!

They call our office at least 4 times a day, usually more. I'm the only person that works inside and it's the most annoying thing ever to have them call the way they do. I've reported them to every agency I can find and they still call. I even tried to get ATT to block their calls, they said it was done, but since I've taken 8 calls in the past two days from them, I'm guessing there is no block. I wish there were more I could do, these people are harassing us.

I answered and a woman answered saying she was with AT&T saying they were upgrading our DSL. I told her they were not upgrading anything and that we have asked AT&T to remove us from their calling list. She said okay, and then there was silence.

This number calls weekly to my business line. I suspect a computer dialer, as no-one ever speaks and I never hear any background noise/talking.
