So, what can you do to report them?

Repeatedly calls my house, 6 times in 24 hours, but no one is ever on the other end.

Eco-remodeling offering home improvement. I told her I only worked with licensed contractors. She gave me a phony contractors license and got mad when I told her it was a fake number.

A gentleman called and offered to do odd jobs around the house. Interestingly, he had my last name and addressed me by it. I told him I didn't have anything for them to do and I was a little surprised (not really!) the were calling, because I am registered on the Federal do-not-call list. He offered to take me off. I said I had already asked them not to call me, and he said he had heard of another company offering the same services and it was probably them. (Not that I believe it.)

Despite being an irritation to be called at all, I have to say he was polite and not pushy at all.

Multiple hang up calls.  Received a call from this number on a previous day with a male asking to perform sexual acts on me.

Got a call from 408-709-1962 saying they were in neighborhood doing remodeling.
I told them that I didn't need any, and wasn't sure they weren't crooks trying to see
who was home.  I told them I would give their number to the police, since there had
been a breakin nearby recently, and one possibility mentioned by police canvassing
the neighborhood were calls to see who was home before breaking in.  I said that
I was on a do not call list, and to please stop calling.  I was accused of being
paranoid by calling the police!!!  

They keep calling here too.

Called twice about an hour apart. I did answer but no one was there?not even the "boiler room" sound.  So I hung up.

Called at 5:45 pm.  The answering machine picked up and a male asked for Mr or Mrs us.  Kept asking as if he thought he was speaking to a real person then hung up.  

I get a call at 2:15, then again at3:15. 3 days in a row now. Nobody there.  Was concerned it was someone trying to find out who is home at what hour, or perhaps the scam where you call back to find out who the hell it is and they hijack/charge your number for overseas charges of $19.95.  No need to call back since there's THIS sight!  The caller ID comes up with "San Jose" so I answer since I know too many people who live here (including family) and its not "private" which I do not answer.  Soooooo, I'll keep hitting the * key repeatedly just to annoy the caller!  I might use a whistle next time....  Ha ha ha!  

Just got 2 calls from this number exactly 60 minutes apart, no one there when I pick up.  I have now 'black listed' them using my Ooma.

My caller ID is overloaded with calls from this number. The total calls that I've received from this number equal exactly 34 in a four week time span! The last time I spoke with someone from that number a woman wanted to know "what remodeling I wanted done." I told the caller that, "I belong to the NRA," even though I don't, and, "if you have any sense whatsoever you'll abort any future calls to my number."  She hung up on me in tremendous haste! I guess my pseudo threat worked, because I haven't received a single call from that number in two days! Treat these criminals accordingly. Don't be nice to them. After all they are merely trying to con you.

Got a call from 408-709-1962 415pm today. "unknown name" was on the ID. I hit 'talk' then the disconnect button. If important, I'd get a c/b. Nope; no call back.  Must be that time of year; been getting LOTS of scammer calls from all numbers; even from 999-999-9999 !!!!! Now on that one, I hit 'talk' & yelled F.U.!! & hung up! Did that feel good!!! :)

For the past two weeks I get called by this number always in the evening. The caller is some scam remodeling contractor. I've told the caller to remove my number from her list. She acknowledges my request, and the next evening I get called again. This has been going on for two weeks now. This evening at 6:15 PM I get called again. I know it's the same person picking up, and I gave her a stern warning to delete my phone number immediately. The caller says, "And you have a nice evening sir." And hangs up on me. What in heaven's name do I do to stop this?! I know that there is criminal activity tied to these calls, and I feel I'm being singled out and harassed on a daily basis. I will alert the police if I continue to be called by 408-709-1962.

Sounds like telemarketer (there is a delay once you answer the phone) asking to speak to Mr. or Mrs. ?

This number has been calling me often. It's always around 6:30 or 7:00PM when they call. When I answer I hear what sounds like tones from a fax. Very weird. I researched the number and it's a cellular caller registered in Gilroy. When I dialed the number all I got were fax tones. It's strange that a registered cellular number would be linked to a fax. More criminal activity at play here.

Another crank call from a bogus "home improvement contractor."

I got a call from this number right at dinnertime. That alone pissed me off. I answer and some woman is talking about  houses in my neighborhood "being renovated" by their company. I told the caller that the homes in my neighborhood are less than five years old. She promptly hung up on me! I dialed the number back and I get a message saying that the number is no longer in service.  

Called a few minutes ago.  Did not leave a message.

Caller asked what work we needed done on our house. I told her we did it all last year. She was polite and said thank you and have a good eve. Qty. of calls sure is increasing again.

I also got a call from this number, no answer. I called back it was a fax machine.

Received number 20 minutes ago. My husband answered and they asked if we needed work on our house.? He said no. then he said he  was from Echo. We have an unlisted number. I called back and it was a fax number.
