I called PG&E to remove me from the master list (look like many sub-contractors, including questionable ones has the list) and yet still receive calls. PG&E needs to hear from you. Email them at CAREandFERA@pge.com to complain

This is a legitimate call.  PG&E has their energy savings assistance program, which potentially every person who has a PG&E account may qualify for.  This program is actually paid for by everyone on their PG&E bill under the surcharge that says PPP or Public Purpose Programs, which the representative I spoke to explained to me.  If you answer the call, the representative will ask you a few questions to see if you qualify.  If you do they will set you up with the program.  If you don't they will remove you from the list.  I did qualify and received this program and it has greatly reduced my energy bill.  Don't take my word for it though, you can verify all this information for yourself on the PG&E website at pge.com/energysavings or just google the energy savings assistance program.

calls OFTEN, never leaves a message! when i answered last call, no one was there.. sounds like a computer dialed call waiting to connect to a live person so I assume a sales call? I wish they'd leave a msg with a number to call to be REMOVED from call list since they obviously don't care we are on .gov no call list!

Just received a call from this number.  It said don't hang up, so I did.  They're not the boss of me!!!  lol  Seriously though, last week I received the same type call from a similar number.  I was getting those calls every day!  I finally blocked the number...as I will this number!!!  

I've heard that scammers want you to call the number back so they can charge outrageous prices to your phone bill.  I don't know how true or accurate that is though.

And ... TWICE IN ONE DAY.  ( So far ! )
These people should be advised that it's not an acceptable way of doing business.

I got a machine saying it was PG&E and something about a special program to save money on my bill. The funny part was the first thing it said was "This is not a marketing call". They wanted me to stay on hold and talk to someone. Seemed fishy to me, so I hung up. Kept saying PG&E and something about a new program.

Same here, just today....  Should we report the number to the police?

They've called me every day for the past month and have never left a message.

Hung up as soon as I said hello

Received a phone call and they hung up as soon as I said hello.

They keep calling but hang up once I say hello.
