no one is on the line and they are wasting my time they dont even leave a messege

how do we get them to stop I dont know how they got my number but they call like 15 times today and I am getting upset

they have been calling me the past few days all the time... its a little rediculous. I dont answer numbers I dont know and after reading the other peoples comments, I wont answer

They called and hung up. They are from San Jose whoever "they" are.

I know they got my number by signing up for a payday advance online.  I only get about 1 a day.  I'm sure these online companies sell you number, and are not 100% legit.  If they say its from a creditor that denied you a credit card, i think thats bogus, because the big credit card companies would get in a bunch of trouble with those.

Well after reading all the comment9 ok most of them ) I called the # back and yes it is ameritrust finanical. I have read that they still keep calling even after being told not to so..I was real polite and explained that the intended recipent of the call was actually 10 years old( he's not he's 29) but the woman apologised and said she would remove his name from the system. I hope that worked.

After checking my caller ID, I noticed this strange number recorded 5 times today.  I don't know who they are, we didn't answer the phone.  The only thing that I can suggest is to not apply for anything creditwise via the internet.  Apparently, our numbers are being sold to these people.  BEWARE!  If the calls persist, contact the FCC (Federal Trade Commission) and report possible fraudulent activity.

samething here, started getting these calls after applying to paydayloans who in turn sell your number and name to ameritrust financial

the number is a fraud credit card company saying all they need from you is your social and your bank account information. do not give them any information you will get screwed over and lose money. i recommend you block the number with your phone company or your wireless phone company. we have been trying to find out where they are but they get off the phone before we can trace them.

I keep getting phone calls - it rings and hangs up

I called that number from a different phone and its a credit card company. When you ask to speak to a live person the phone hangs up.

These people are calling for my husband.  I tell them he isnt here...which he isnt because he is at work...and they just hang up on me.  I'm just waiting for them to call again.  I'm glad I found this, or else I would be going out of my mind trying to figure out who this was.  They really are quite rude, annd the next time I will NOT be polite.

They're making me crazy..they don't stop calling my cell #....I called back and it said that it was from ameriquest? or americredit?!..the message said: if you received a call from this number is b/c you are approved for a credit card with our company that will help you fix your credit..(I don't have bad credit,honestly) ..then they placed me on hold and hold and hold...I hung up!....but then they called me three more times but I didn't answer.....they have to stop.....Pls tell me how I stop this!!

My number has been registered on the donotcall.gov database since Jan2006 so two years now and these people at 408-731-7348 are calling me to give me a credit card that I did not apply for, so I went to the donotcall.gov website and filed a complaint on this caller. I entered the number they called, their Company Name Ameritrust Financial, their phone number 408-731-7348, and the times that they called. A seperate complaint for each time that they called. They can be fined up to $11,000 in civil penalties and up to $8,000 in state penalties PER VIOLATION. So if your number is registered with the donotcall list please report the violation that this company is calling you. They need enough formal complaints to take action.

I had one missed call and then I answered it the next time my cell phone showed this number.  The lady on the other end asked if she was speaking to me, when I said yes, she hung up.

THIS NUMBER BELONGS TO AMERITRUST FINANCIAL AND THEY TAKE $200 IN EXCHANGE FOR A $2000 LIMIT CREDIT CARD- THEY JUST TRIED TO SCAM MY WIFE. PLEASE REPORT THESE PEOPLE AND HOW DO WE STOP THEM?

I just recieved a call from this number early in the morning on my cell phone. it was very annoying. it woke us up then when I answered the phone they hung up.

This number has called me 15 times since 8 am this morning and  it's only 2pm now. They don't say anything when call is answered. Call shows up as Five-9 on caller ID. Looked it up on google and it comes up as Ameritrust Financial and has been reported as credit card scam that takes anywhere from 100 to 244 dollars from your checking account if you give them your information. One report has it connected with Chase credit cards. Almost all the reports say it's a compnay out of Florida. I just want them to stop calling my house.

if they call again im just going to let them know its harassment and i'll report it. 4 calls in the last few hours. this is a little ridiculous.

The person was trying to push me to get an "approved credit card".

They keep calling my cell, and when you answer it sounds like a cell phone. There are so many people talking in the back that you cant hear. I finailly told them that I would give their number to police if they call again. We will see if that helps. If you tell them to stop and they dont its agaianst teh law.
