Let them know the next time they call you are recording their conversation (legal in most states); they are violating the FDCPA and TCPA by harassing a non-debtor and you intend to take legal action if the calls do not stop.

These people have been calling my phone regularly for almost 3 years.  The calls are intended for someone I've never met in my life.  I've called them REPEATEDLY and asked to have my number removed.  The person who answers the phone is very friendly and claims to have removed my number from "the list", but the calls continue.  Very frustrating.

Not everyone has a debt that these people still want to collect.  Some of them are frauds and scams and even associated with the MAFIA.  So your answer was RUDE and OBNOXIOUS!!!

Pay your bills and they won't call you at all, let alone your workplace.

Yes they can call your workplace. They can even use your employment for wage garnishments if they get creditors to approve legal action against you.

What kind of collection agency is this?  Is it a credit card collection agency? Student loan collection?

I received a phone call from this number.  Missed call said the call is from SNJS West, CA.  I looked up the number and it looks like the call is from CBSJ Financial, a debt collection agency.  I think this agency also called me at work.  It's strange because my office has an automated system and anyone that calls in have to press a few numbers to get a live person but for some reason, a lady was able to get to my direct line. Is it possible for debt collectors to call your workplace?  Isn't there some kind of rights or act out there that I can use against them?

I keep getting messages asking for a "Binchen" from this number when no such person exists at my residence with no explanation.  The calls are frequent!
