Why do companies think this is good business? I changed my mind about direct tv being installed. Glad I did, because it looks like they are the ones annoying me with these calls.  Why would anyone pay someone to harass people. Unbelievable. I wonder if our country with all these scamming businesses was always like this or does it just get worse day by day. Everything is a lying joke.

We are getting calls from 408 796 3146 on 2 different numbers.  Called back no answer as a voice came on line and said this is a non working number.  Amazing a nonworking number can call me but I can't call them.

Called twice. I pushed to voicemail,but no messages left. Based on other people's reports, I am going to block and report this number as spam

i got 4 calls today from this number and i didn't pick up I DON't Know who u are or what the hell what want but i want u to stop calling my cell phone!!!!!!

DUM DUMs calling a few times a time and hang up after I answer. Attempted return call, IDIOT, DUM DUM hang up on me. I plan to block he number later otoday. It's probably a computer dialing. Just received another call a few minutes before posting this mess. Good luck with stopping this mess

These people keep calling and hanging up.  How do we find were this a***ole is calling from

They called me and I have an account with Directv also. Actually my account was shut off for non-payment and I was trying to get the money up to pay it to get it back on. They knew everything about my account and said they help people who are disconnected to get back service. They offered to pay $150.00 to help me get it back on. They said it will show up as a credit on my bill. I guess we will see.

I called Directv and they say this is not their phone number. I have to call my carrier and have it blocked. Directv took our phone number off our account anyway. Maybe this will help. We'll know more tomorrow.

I have been getting steady calls on my cell phone from this number in Campbell, CA, for a month. The first call was in the middle of the night. The few times I picked up there was no answer. They never leave a message. When I ring back I get the busy circuit signal others have mentioned. I also had recently signed up for Direct TV at Best Buy.  They used my cell phone number to open the account because they said the customer special would not work if I used my home phone. Very few people have my cell phone number. I wish they would stop harassing me for no apparent reason.

When I answered the first call it was someone who said they were from DirecTV wanted to know how the install went.  I told her fine, she wanted to talk to hubby, when could she call back told her after 5 she called a 4pm.  Didn't answer, now the calls never stop.  I don't want them to call anymore how do we stop it?

I had two calls from 4087963146 today. I've tried calling the number and it rings once then goes directly to a busy signal.

They called me two times and no one ever spoke. This person should have there phone taken away for harrassement. Can't something be done about this????

I keep getting this cal 2/3/4 times a day, and early in the am.  TIRED of it.  I tried as others to contact, no answer, no vailed ring etc.  If this is Direct TV, please stop this, as I am so unhappy with my service and lies as is.  LEAVE IT ALONE.

Repeated phone calls from (408) 796-3146...Campbell, CA

The caller has to do with Smart Circle who is some how associated with Best Buy who in turn probably signed you up when you purchased  Direct TV.  Direct TV says they have no relationship, yet the caller gives the impression they are related. Have responded to them once yet they keep calling.  Maybe someone has a good idea how to stop their calling?

they are making money off the caller id data somehow.  every time you call back.

They call, I answer, they hang up.  So annoying!  I have Direct Tv, but will switch back to AT&T Uverse because of this.

I got a few calls from (408) 796-3146, I traced this number to Campbell, California. The person asked me if everything was working well with my recent Direct TV service? I called back immediately but line hangs up. I called Direct TV & asked them if they call from 408-796-3146 they said absolutely not. I'm thinking this is some kind of scam or trying to gather info. for a scam, who knows the call may be coming from outside the U.S.?

i get up to at least 2 calls a day from this number and have been for the last 2 months. i've tried calling back and either it rings twice and then hangs up or it goes to an immediate error message.
