Since I have prepaid phone and rarely use text and trying to save $, I just look up number on forums like this, then delete without opening.

Everyogne that is receiving these calls and text messages needs to call verizon or phone company and refuse to pay the bill on them.  Then maybe phone companies will start shutting these criminals and harassers down.  As long as we pay for it they won't do a thing.  Stop paying folks!

They text me about a payday loan, no way to stop it and I have to pay for the text

I received the same message about a $900 payday loan. Same text I received from 323-345-3454.

I reported them to the FTC for calling/texting outside of the do not call hours and pointed out I was on the Do Not Call list

It is an unlisted phone number from Sunnyvale, CA

Fast, easy, convenient. Not really to impressed with it. Sure everyone needs extra money but no way am I going to answer that. My family is the only people that have my cell phone number and certain friends.

payday loan garbage

I too received a junk message from this number, the $900 payday loan scam.
My cell phone is an emergency phone and the number is known by no-one but family members.
I have not received any spam on this phone before and the number has never been put into any form or given to any business.

I am hoping it is just a random contact thing they do, dial numbers in sequence or something.

I would hate to have to change my number.

No I do not want to borrow $900.
