Called asking about a cottage I have for rent.  Very hard to understand his English.  Wanted to rent for May and June and asked for how many people and how much.  Asked for my web-site.  I asked him where he got my phone number from, and he said he was looking for places for many people looking for rentals.  Told him I was not interested and hung up.  Hopefully he won't call back, or I will release the Cracken aka my husband,  lol!

I am getting twice a week a phone call. The guy calls himself Justin and asks about property.
Then he hangs up. His English is very poor. He tells me he is calling from the USA and last time from the UK.

His phone nr is from Roemenië. 4088506461  It doesn't feel right. I have called the police, but they don't do anything about it.
Be careful I think this is bad news. Don't talk to the person. When you talk to long they may get int to you
phone and collecting all your personal information!!!!

Have received 22 calls from this number since 8am this morning - when I answer there is nothing then a click and then it hangs up - NOT F*@#KING HAPPY

I live in New Zealand and have been getting these calls, have tried to anawer it but no one answers and then when you try and ring back it doesn't work. Rang me 3 times in an hour.

Solve the problem permanently with an app called Call Control.  Been using it for telemarketers for a couple of years and it works like a charm.  Once you place a number on the blocked list the caller will get a quick hang up and you'll get at most one ring.  I also use it for callers who block their caller ID, which are more often not telemarketers.  Give them a dose of 10+ hang ups and they'll get the idea.

Yes, they called me several times a week.  I ignored the calls but they kept calling. I'm on VRBO, too.

The Do not call people really need to "FIX THEM"!

I called it back, some call center in India about vacation rentals.  I asked to be put on their do not call list...they called me at 11 pm.  The gentleman was very polite, will see if they take me off their list.

The company is now making nuisance calls to Australia. We have had 3 in less than 24 hours

I have been getting this same call. It is very annoying. I have gotten use to them calling so I told them the property has been closed up so maybe that will take care of them. I'll keep you posted.

Several calls to my cell phone today. My cell is private only a few people have it, so I don't answer any unidentified calls. I called from a business phone this number in called ID. 408 850-6461. It was a call center in India, A Vacation Scam, or marketers. I told her to  place on do not call, and also said I would never buy any vacation package by this method, it's unethical, so just stop using my minutes . She assured they would not call again, and apologized. I wonder how they got my number all of a sudden.  I  have no such vacation rental property, and no desire, I am the wrong demographic for such a call.

They are fishing to by your number listed on the rental web site. Definitely a Indian guy they always call, I just hang up . Buyer Beware when your dealing with Indians totally different set rules values and customs .They just don't care for the most part all they want is your money very untrustworthy . Dell uses them and  a bunch of other companies Indian's are joke in general as far as customer service and sales compared with Jamaica and the Philippines .... My advice switch your company call centers to Jamaica or the Philippines .....

If I want to hire every ad company to sell me an ad, I will call them, so leave me the f*** alone.  Iam ALWAYS ON VACATION, so hanging up on me before I get to the phone is even more idiotic than having me tell you no!  DO NOT CALL! I can do the same back until you have no space on your answering machine! Do you want to drop my number or wage war?
