This number is nuisance and need to be stopped ASAP.

Calls everyday in the evening, never a message.  When I call back, phone is busy as its automated or the phone just rings and rings, no answering machine until someone picks it up and hangs up the line.  I tried this for a few minutes (perhaps this person will know how irritating it is to recieve calls with no answer).

Can someone do something to stop such idiocy.

Another site has posts claiming the number is owned by TBS Productions, which is right around the corner.  They do fundraising for cops, firefighters, etc., and keep 80% of the money.

I keep receiving these type of calls, too.  It's really annoying.  Most of the time they hang up but lately when I pick up it is a busy signal.  I tried calling back but they don't answer.  They probably know I'm angry.  This number is one number off a family member and everytime I see it I think someting is wrong - especially when this call comes late at night.  Argh!

I get these calls all the time.  I'm not quite sure what the scam is or the purpose of the calls but it is VERY annoying.  I too am on the do not call list and have registered a complaint.

Get this number at least several times a week. When I answer the call no one responds.

I get this caller it is either busy, fax line, or rings then hangs up. I think it could be a pay phone or a Phishing number!!!

I am the son of Emmett Steede. He died in that apartment (350 Budd Ave.) on the day after Thanksgiving, 1988 of ventricular tachycardia brought on by potassium insufficiency due to his kidney failure 4 years previously. My mother and niece lived there another few months before moving to Reno, NV until my mother's death in 2001.

The phone line has not been in his name or anyone in the Steede family since 1989. Clearly, with both Steede residents dead before the calls started, it's guaranteed they are not the source.

You are best to call the fund raising company or complain to the phone company.

Someone with a harsh called me from this number saying Santa Clara Deputy Sheriff, and asks me donate $40 for him to go for a game or something.. I said I am not willing to after he transferred me to a lady who is asking for my home address for sending the bill.

If I find out who it is I am going to beat the s*** out of them,.....
  No police actions necessary as they won't do anything anyway...this is a vigilante item!!!

Just got a call from this number and missed picking it up on my cell.  I'm from campbell so I recognized the 866 prefix.  First time getting the call, came in at 8:12pm, no message, called back and it rang rang rang until it picked up to dead air then disconnected.  Very strange.  My cell has been on the DoNotCall list for about a year now.  After reading what has been posted about the number, I hope that I don't get on the repeat calling list like some of you.

The call this morning woke me up and I split my lip tripping on the way to the phone.  I'm now taking a personal interest in these jerks.
That address turns out to be a shabby apt. complex.

Called home on Saturday morning and also called a different number this evening. It was busy the first few times I tried calling back. Afterwards, there was no answer. Is there a number where such thing can be reported? In addition, I signed up for "do not call" list. What do I do if I continously get calls from organizations for donations or from companies?

I have seen this number on both my landline AND my cell, which concerns me.
