Did not pick up and caller left no message on 3/29/2014..

called at 7:25pm Friday night - I wish these idiots would stop - what good does it do to be on the dnc registry, what a waste of money - no message left - looked up number and found the remarks abou fop- ya im sure a bunch of baloney

Hey these idiots tried us.  Called at 7:51 PST, didn't answer, and the scammers didn't leave a message, DUH!

I answered and no one was there, so I waited about 10 minutes and called back.  A man with a burly/deep voice answered, but it sounded like he was eating or something....immediately went into his speech about the Fraternal Order etc!! Total Scam!! I told him to stop calling and hung up!!

OK....so I called the # back and some man answered and immediately went into his speech about being with the fraternal order of the police or something like that!! Total Scam!! He said they were sending out their new brochures etc.... Told him to take me off his list....we'll see!

I got 5 calls in the last 20 minutes....it is infuriating!!! No one is ever on the other line but I answer just so I don't have to hear the damn ringing!!!

This number called at 9:25AM... Caller-ID "Sunnyvale CA"... I answered. I said Hello. Long pause of about 10 seconds and then a male voice says, "Hello?" I said Hello again. Then a recording started. The male voice with southern-twang recording claims to be from FRATERNAL ORDER of POLICE (FOP) and the recording goes on to say that they're seeking money (go figure), allegedly for Officers who've suffered "catastrophic injury" on the job and so on, and so forth. I hung up after about another 15 seconds and didn't finish the call so I don't know if they're selling something or just begging for money. The call/recording sounded bogus and I highly doubt this has anything to do with the FOP. While the FOP east of the Mississip on the east coast is a formidable Union organization for Police, the FOP in the west, and especially in California, is a very small "alternative" organization for Police Officers -- if they want to join. West coast Police Officers have their own individual Unions and Associations so the FOP holds no sway anywhere around here in California at all.

keep getting calls from the 408-940-xxxx.  None of them leave messages and we do not answer the phone unless we recognize the called ID.  The CID which comes through says UNAVAILABLE.  

They got me too...last night.  I live in CA so I recognized the area code as being close by.  I didn't answer and there was no message left.  So...they're getting to us all!  I'm glad I'm NOT the only one.  

Called and went yo my answering machine...did not leave a message.  Glad to see nobody on here answered.  If everyone just wouldn't answer the calls would stop ;-)
