Phone rings, when answered, no one responds & the caller terminates the call.

Got this number calling my home at least three times a week.  Found out that is suppose to be some state trooper organization.  I would recommed not donating to charities out side your local area.  Even some of those may not be honorary.

Called at 8:50 tonight!  Answered but no response!  My number is on the Do Not Call list but I guess that isn't going to help!

Received a call and when I answered no one was on line and answering machine said Unknown.

I get this call daily.  Sometimes I answer just to get hung up on, other times I just let it ring but they never leave a message.  Tried calling the number back but it says I have the wrong number.  I gave to the State Troopers once and now they won't stop calling!!!  Is there anyway to stop them!!!!!!!!!!

Answering machine picked up and caller terminated in the middle of the message. The idiot has called numerous times over the last 2 months and I did speak to someone once and had the pleasure of telling him to go rot in hell and never call again. But..... Got another one today.

called and i answered and i asked for their name and they hung up.

Answered call and it was immediately terminated.  Have received calls from this number before.

Answered call from this # and it was supposedly State Trooper Assoc. soliciting money for kid's ID kits.  Got to the part where he wanted my credit card # and I refused.  I asked where he was located and he said Florida...so I asked why he had a 409 area code.  He didn't have an answer.  He gave me a couple #'s I could call to verify who he was and one was a # listed online as a telemarketer service in Florida.

Caller ID - Unknown name  when answered - no response - call then terminated. Call every day

Business line is forwarded to cell phone.  Phone rings, call is forwarded, answer cell phone to no one there.

I get this call a few time as well.  They just call and hang up.

this is a scam collecting money for disbled kids for the state troopers association.  Dont send money!!!

This is a daily caller.  I just wondered if I was alone.  Nice to know I have company.

Someone needs to develop a phone that blocks unknown/unwanted callers. Is there such a thing on the market?

we got two calls today from 409-229-9899 and did not leave messages.  I have seen this number before but I usually ignore calls I don't know

Got a call 2 days in a row from this number.  It rings twice then stops.  Called the number back and got a recording saying it was the American State Troopers Association.  How annoying.  They pray on people who think they are local law enforcement.  Never give money to these ortganizations.

Unknown name 409-229-9899, called my home, and ask for me, my Fiance ask for caller to leave message, he said his name was David Barkley, he said he'll call back.
Since others are recieing calls from same number, has anyone else talked to this guy?

Caller immediately hung up when I answered.  I phoned back and got a recording claiming it was the American State Troopers' Association and that its fundraising efforts were now underway.

Everyone receiving calls such as this need to report it to the Federal Trades Commission.

caller is a cowderd don't speak. just hold the line they are calling 2 lines at our business all day long.

I received this annoying call, unknown caller, when answering the caller immeadiately terminated the call.

Got a call from this number 4092299899. My caller ID said "Unknown Name". Claimed to be Moses. This shows to be a land-line out of Buna, Texas 77612.
