I Got One Saying "[hello]", Nothing About The Emerald Card, And It Was From 01@Vtext.Com???? What's That About???

has ne one had ne problems with someone else making out of state purchases with you emerald card for large amounts of money and if so have you figured out how to get your money back

my friend just got her tax return on the emerald card and she also received the text, she said she called it and just today or this morning $ 2000 was take out of her card.she has already called the number on the card.they said that the money was taken from a terminal in Germany.now she has to talk with the fraud dept.and pray she get her money back

I didn't realize this was a scam so we called. It asked for our card number to activate and asked for our pin. Afterwards I felt like something wasn't right so I called Customer Service. They had to close that account because they sent no such text. Beware!!

This spam should be illegal. Is it? They are defrauding. If this is from H&R Block, can't we sue them?

i called the number but there was no answer. they left txt msg in my cell saying that emeraldcard was blocked

i called the number and it said i needed card verification...

received txt from my02@vtext.com alert:Emerald Card starting with 511165 is frozen. Call (409)299-4159

Received a text from this number at 1:30am. @ a credit card being frozen.  They don't sleep.

My alert from my01@vtext.com was an alert sayng my emerald card starting with 511165 is frozen. Interesting since I don't have an emerald card.

Recieved text (Metro) from 6526, stating URGENT: Your card starting with 511165 is frozen.. Call  409-299-4159.  called it from land line and a real live man answered saying something sounding business like , said it so fast that I asked him to repeat it and he hung up on me. I tried over and over for no less than 10 minutes after that and got only busy signals.... SCAN !!!!! BEWARE!!!!!
