i got the same call from Shawn Williams saying that i will be arrested if i don?t paid, that i have to paid $200.00 firsts (which i did since i was really scare) the funny thing was after i paid i was thinking where are they calling me from so i decided to call back and ask for a receipt and a paper showing that i old that money and that to please tell me a little bit more but Shawn keep saying if you don?t want to paid fine someone will go and arrested  you i will return the money back to you, and i was no no i could paid with my checking account but he said no so i was every credit card company like when you paid with a checking account why you guys don?t take it he didn?t answer but I keep telling him I want to paid since I could f.. remember what was it, I keep saying to him I want to paid buy I want to use my account he just no  and hang up the call

There is a post just above..Call the FTC and also give number to FBI...I am keeping a log of these calls and giving it to the FBI...I am also single..My brother gave them hell. Not sure if this will help.

I received a harrassing phone call from "Baker & Foster" law office at work and was accused of fraud on 3 counts on a loan I never received.  I called several times trying to get info on the accusations but was abruptly hung up on.  The most info I got was that they are in Woodville Texas.  They hung up when I asked for their address to look them up. Total SCAM!!!

Called me multiple times on my cell phone then on my direct work phone leaving threatening message that they were a lawyer and I must call back with Legal Representation. Very upsetting call to receive both on my cell and at my job. I called back to tell them I know this is a SCAM but there phone just disconnected and wouldn't pick up.

Got call from 409-299-8784. They left message about legal action being taken against me and that I or my Attourney needed to call them back. This call origin appears to be in Texas . Recieved  a call last week from an 803 number location Florida stating same thing. Got frustrated with arguing so I just called the number back said they called this number and asked we're they calling to get in contact with who they said they were calling for. They asked was I said caller. I replied no and said they were deceased. They hung up on me. Maybe this will stop the calls. Don't know but am screening calls I don't know directing them to voicemail. All future calls of this nature will get the same response . Maybe they will delete my number. I will keep you posted.

I received the same call from 409-299-8784. They threaten to send the police to arrest me. they said I committed fraud. I just was released from prison. How could I commit fraud when that would send me back to where I don't want to be. Please be careful, they are trying to get information to fund their terrorist acts," Americans be safe!"

I just got a threatening call from this number.  He said his name is Jack Lewis, but he's an Indian.  He said he works for Baker & Foster and that they are wanting my lawyer because of a criminal complaint.  I told him he was full of it and he called me a m****f***er and told me to send him a couple of used condoms.  I called them back and got some stupid woman who refused to give me their address and then put me on hold and didn't come back.  I called back and got busy signal.  Called again and it rang a couple times and then went to busy signal.  The reason I'm upset is that they gave me my address and social and I have no idea how they got it.  I will be filing a police report in the morning.

This number keeps calling me. Today they used the fake name Troy Carter. He called my job twice and I hung up on him.  Then he leaves me a voicemail yelling at me saying that I hung up on him and how he was trying to help then he wished me luck and said good bye.  I called back and WENT OFF. I told them my attorney would be contacting them the next time they try to call my job. The told me I could not do that. And I just said Don't ever call my job again and that is that. Then I hung up on him.

I had a call at my work today from the (409) 299-8784 number with the same type of call. Indian speaking and very aggressive trying to tt me or my supervisior saying that I had committed fraud and that he was going to send the cops to my work to arrest me. Tried to get his name and what the name of the lawyer's office but he hung up.

I was at work when the phone rang I answered the phone and a heavy Indian accented man came on. He  went on to tell me that I was being charged with criminal charges under such and such number. They said that I had received a payday loan in which I never have. Instantly I was P.O. and started to become irate When I started getting the loud the man asked me why I was being rude, I hung up the phone. Me and my boss discussed the situation and we Google the number which pulled up this website. We called the company back and they ended up cussing at my boss so she told them they were a great big fraud!!!! They hung up on her and never called back. These people are SAD and need to get a real life. Giving people hardship when there is already enough going on in this world.

Well today is Friday the day in which they told me i would be arrested for their claims.  I spoke with them again yesterday and they then said i would be arrested on Monday.  No matter what you tell them they are going to just get mad and try to bully you into paying them.  They will get whats coming to them one day.

Wow, went to work yesterday at 3pm and then at 3:20 my boss came and took me to his office. He was pretty upset that a call was received (went to voicemail) for me from 409-299-8784. The guy identified himself as Brian, no last name, said that it was urgent that I call him back immediately regarding a very serious matter. He didn't give any more specifics, just said that if I or my attorney didn't return his call he wished me 'good luck.' A fellow worker called the number later, (phone was answered with 'Foster and Baker Attys') and said that he was my attorney and wanted to know what the call was in regard to, of course, the guy was evasive and wanted to know what number he had left the message on! We kept asking what it was about, but no info was given. After a few more questions, the guy disconnected. Called several times later, but the phone was always busy. Did eventually get through much later in the evening, Brian was very nasty, so was my friend who said he would be in Beaumont, TX (that's what phone # look-up has for address) within a day and would meet with them personally. Got hung up on again and on the next call to them Brian made threatening remarks. He was evasive about the address he was calling from, and again was very angry. I am done with this whole scam, but my friend is planning on 'bothering' them with additional calls.

Just received the same called when I told him I was an attorney and Pay Day loans are illegal in my state he became very rude I laughed and told him to learn to speak English, he started cursing and I just kept talking over him until he hung up the phone. They are indeed scammers and they will threaten you all day don't worry they cant do anything but hope you fall for the scam so they can get your cash.........409-299-8784

Ignored call twice, finally answered and they told my wife she owed $5000 on a payday loan. She was bounced around before someone said that if she didn't pay she would be arrested for being "unlawful" threatened to send case to state attorney. After threatening to go to the Texas State Attorney the caller offered to transfer her to the state attorney. Man answered claiming to "Debra...." and than changed the name to Robin. After being called on it they hung up. If this isn't a scam they sure are weird down in Texas

What can I do about this situration. When these people are calling my job. Can I file harassment.

Do not answer any calls from these people they are trying to scam you out of money...............I think they need real jobs like the rest of us.

I have received several phone calls from this place in the past few days preaching doom and gloom and an email with supposed court documents that I couldn't open.  They claim I owe some $395.00 to a place named American Cash and asked me to get a green dot card, and that I will be arrested at work on Monday if I don't pay.  I contacted the police and an attorney who went over the situation with me and assured me this is a scam.  When I called this place out on this fact, they became very angry with me.  They were screaming at me that I know what I've done so I don't need to be provided any court documents in writing, and that they will do a 3 way call with the FBI to prove that I owe this money immediately.  I was told never to call them again, and that they would only speak with my attorney.  I guess they get angry when someone catches on to their scam.

There's absolutely no reason to be scared.  This is a SCAM.

I am getting very harassing phone calls from 409-299-8784, stating that if I don't call back they wish me luck on how this situation unfolds.  Last month I did get a pay day loan from a legit company, but I think this is how they got all my information, even my social, I am scared.  I am not calling them back, the one time they called at my work and I actually answered, they were so rude and threatening to me.  I have 3 kiddos depending on me, these calls scare me greatly.

I received two calls from them today,  Both times leaving messages with personal info.  It is scary but i have never heard of anyone just sending police to your work to arrest you.  I tried calling back tonight and the call ends after 3 seconds.  If they were from a legit attorneys office there would be a message system for you to call and leave messages.  We need to put a stop to this right away.  Harassing people at home and work is getting out of control.

i rec this called this afternoon saying that i  committed fraud asked him about the fraud and he got mad and would not give me any info said that i will be arrested friday morning  at my place fo employment and suggested that i get an  attorny and  he also called me a a. . hole and hung up i did posted trutful imformation that what he called me and i dont apprecate it

Notify the Federal Trade Commission regarding these calls.  This is a scam to get you to buy a "green dot card" and then to give them the card information.  The FTC investigates these types of fraud and the more calls they get about these guys, the better.  The number is 916-481-9110.

i just  got  call too   they  stole all my info and  got  rude  when I told them I had a lawyer and my uncle was a judge

I got this phone call today, and it scared me. I am still a student, so I'm new at handling situations like this, but I did ask where the "loan" I defaulted on came from, and the person I spoke with didn't give me a name. It was also interesting that the first phone call was place by a Daniel Parker, but when I returned the phone call, I spoke with a woman.

My mother just got  this phone call today. They threatened her with her getting arrested for not paying back a loan she never received. The law office was foster baker. The attorney was named john marshall. When i called for her i asked for john marshall and the man said hold on. The same man picked up and said he was john marshall. He said he was an attorney one minute then all the sudden he was a paralegal.

Got a call from this company and being wise I asked what this is about. Because I needed to know so that I could call my attorney and get some answers.. I tend to call the bar association as well as the Attorney General and find out what this is about.
