Kept callin like 6 timez in o.e day. Called back and then they called me while i was still callin them and they asked if i was elizabeth brown. I said no and they hung up and they tried callin again. I traced the number and its a landline in galvaston texas. Id love to knock on there door...

received call today, sounded like voice was altered...asked that I or my retained attorney return the call the second I received the message

I've received several calls from this # on my cell that I did not answer or return the call.  They called my office today and I spoke with them in length.  They said that they represented about 145 institutions and that I owed money but could not tell me which institution I owed to, but I owed to several of them.  My deceased husband did owe to 3 of the several they named off (joint account), but I have not been receiving any additional correspondence from these companies, so I thought the debt was written off.  Now this company is telling me that I will be receiving court documents and a summons to appear and that a lawsuit is filed against me and that they are going to prosecute to the fullest of the law.  Something about Federal and pressing charges for check fraud and that I will be reported to the credit bureau and have 175 points taken off my credit score and I will not be able to receive any funding ever from loans or social security once this is prosecuted. I can settle this by paying out of court on 2/10/2012, otherwise they judge will sign to move forward and prosecute.   I was so scared that I agreed to pay the $871.91 on 2/10/2012 but they want me to pay by money pack and I don't even know what that is.  I asked about Western Union and they want me to send it to Elizabeth Trice in Georgetown, DE.  I asked what the account # was and they said they didn't have one.  I asked the name of the company and they said Dermont and Associates.  I won't be sending money because I know now they are a scam because I read reviews about this company in TX
