I told this guy I was going to call the Police and he yelled at me.. He also said he worked for Jack Bower the from Texas, which is funny because the Attorney General there is Gregg Abbot.

I have been recieving letters in my email saying they were going to take me to court for a loan that i have taken out. When i talked to the person, they said they were going to send out a arrest warrant and also that i was a liar and ive taken a loan out. Funny because Ive never taken a loan out. He also sounded like he was India and he said he was from Texas and that the Atteny Genreals name was Jack Bower. Isnt that a character from 24? When I said I was going to call the police and a lawyer, he yelled at me...

This is a magicJack number assigned by YMAX Corp, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company that sells magicJacks. They are popular scamming tools because the caller can call into, and receive calls from the US and Canada from anywhere in the world there is an Internet connection.
From phonevalidator.com:
Phone Number: 409-539-7065
Date of this Report: April 27, 2014
Phone Line Type: LANDLINE
Phone Company: YMAX CORP -- POSSIBLE MAGICJACK VOIP
This report says "possible" magicJack voip only because, in theory, numbers can be "ported" into and out of YMAX to other carriers. But, while some individuals port their home numbers into magicJacks I have yet to hear of a legitimate company or government agency porting a number *out* of a magicJack block of numbers.
YMAX can, and I've heard reports that they *do*, take complaint reports of abuse by magicJack users and can shut down a particular device permanently. Of course, a scammer might then try to obtain another device and use it. Nevertheless, you might try reporting the number to YMAX Corp.
YMAX web page home: http://www.ymaxcorp.com
How to complain to YMAX: http://www.ymaxcorp.com/contact.html
Note that YMAX seems to provide a live chat line for reporting abusive users, as well as accepting reports and subpoenas by other means.

I received a call saying a received a $5000 loan and I needed to pay $250 first month payment to receive the loan. I told him I didn't want a loan. He calls all the time. I finally just started calling him every 5 minutes and he blocked my number. Now I am getting emails claiming he is with the attorney generals office. He also uses a lot of different American names but is clearly from India.

Claiming he was from the attorney generals office. Stated that I had a warrant for my arrest and it would be actived if I don't pay a 1000 loan off that I never got.

I received a call from this number. He said my loan had been approved...and yes...the one I NEVER applied for. I asked him to stop calling me and he said I needed to give him $450 dollars using my credit card and he would stop calling. I said HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND. His response was yes. I just hung up. He calls at least 3x a day. I just blocked his number. 409-539-7065

I received voicemail about a loan application that I supposedly filled out. Funny I don't remember filling out a loan application. Has anyone else gotten a call from 409-539-7065? The guy that left the messaged sounded like he was calling from India
