Had calls from this number before.  I need to figure out how to block it.

I got a call today.  They left a message:

"This is Christina, a debt collector with Asset Acceptance. Please contact me about a personal business matter at 1(800) 545-9931... Thank you. Please be advised this is an attempt to collect a debt any information obtained is used for that purpose. Thank you."

Way 2 go Dee!  Bill collectors GOTTA listen to mothers!  Can I forward my collection calls to you?  I could use a surrogate tough-as-nails mom to fend off annoying calls. I hope your son is proud.

Just got a call from this number (says AssetAcceptance).  I answered with "Yes?"  They wanted to speak with one of my sons.  I told them he doesn't live here (which he hasn't for several years).  I then asked them what type of company they were....she says "what do you mean"?  So I said "what type of business are you?"  She wouldn't say but wanted me to give my son a message to call them back so they can get a good number for him.  I told her he wouldn't be interested.  She then said you can't say that, you don't know.  I then told her yes I can because I'm his Mother.  She then asked again if I could give him a message......I said "NO" and hung up.

Yep, they keep calling for "Jillian" -- this has been going on for years! I have had this telephone number for almost 20 years -- no Jillian ever did -- nor did any Jillian ever live at this address --

sooooooo.... they're just using the internet and carelessly harassing anyone who has the same first initial. I am going to call both the Attorney General and my legislator and ask them to tighten up consumer protection laws and enforcement...

This is just getting out of hand. I have to answer the phone - I'm the emergency contact for an elderly relative....
