I need to stop these calls from coming into my house.  It's everyday, sometimes twice a day.  This is harressment at this point!

They call 5 to 6 times a day.I answer ones and the guy just wants my adress. Why I have no idea.I toll him hurry up and ask the questions and he kept insisting he needed my adress.

WE are continually being pestered by ARBITRON.  Would appreciate any help in stopping this annoyance.

This survey company won't stop calling me!

They called my house at 10pm at night!!!! I sent them a nasty email and told them it made them look terrible and totally turned me off to ANYTHING they were asking me to participate in. Kids ASLEEP!!!!! WTH!!!!!!!

I have gotten over a dozen calls from them.  I answer the phone an put it infront of the tv speaker.  their dime

They call me several times a day, several days a week! Told them to stop! They won't.  I sleep during the day because I work at night. I received a letter in mail from Arbitron and a dollar to fill out their survey.  I think that the dollar they send out is counterfeit! It sure left a good ink image on the paper they sent with it!

I keep getting called from 410-312-8222  numerous times a day. I don't answer the phone. Am on do not call lists and this continues.

You stated 6 facts why everyone should answer Arbitrons calls and take their surveys.
I only have one fact and that is that I purchased my phone with my money and pay a carrier a fee for my phone service. And in my estimation my one fact trumps anything you can come up with. IT'S FOR MY PERSONAL USE!

FACT 1:  My phone and phone number is for my use and the use of family and any friends I wish to give my number to and not any old Joe Schmo or any entity that feels they have a right to be a pain in the butt 5, 10 or 20 times a week.  Take the hint when no one answers. It's evident no one is interested, so move on until you find someone who cares.

Was wondering how to block the company Arbitron 410-312-8222. They call 4 to 5 times a say. Five in the morning to ten at night.

I received a letter from them last week, stating my household was chosen to participate in a survey about TV shows I watched.  They enclosed a $1 bill and stated I'd receive another, small monetary amount, for participating.  They stated I'd be called within a few days.  I pocketed the $1, with no intention of participating.  I get a call at 12PM today on my home phone (yay, wish I had the luxury of NOT working to pay my bills).  I have now added them to my AT&T block message - they'll get a recorded message stating I'm not accepting their calls.   After they call back a few times and get that message, I'll take them off the list and they will be added to my call blocking device.

The DNC list is a complete joke and waste of time for filing complaints folks.  Just buy a call blocking device and save yourself the hassle.  DNC means DO NOT CALL - regardless of nature of call.  Once our government realizes that and then actually FINES folks that do, the DNC list will be nothing but a waste of time and tax payer dollars to pay the folks to "monitor" it.  Never mind the scammers that spoof numbers to ring through - you can't find or control them either.

Hey, Mack... if you don't want trash calls to your number, try not posting it to a public forum.  IF it is your number, that is.  Probably some poor ex girlfriend you want harassed.  :-)

Got a call from this number about 7:30 PM, but after 6PM my phone is in whitelist/blacklist mode so that only folks I know can call through.  The rest are sent to voice mail.  Arbitron is a company which has been around since the 1940s but their age and reputation doesn't matter one bit to me.  I detest getting survey calls.  I figure we have so many companies trying to learn everything they can about us that they can go pump somebody else for personal info.  Now the above number is blocked and will be rejected from now on.  Bye, Arbitron.  :-)

Same as everyone else reports.   They carpet bomb you with phone calls and when I did pick up--the person automatically implies that you gave consent to participate in their survey (when none was given).  

I hung up on the arrogant, disrespectful cretin.  

Arbitron called last week about a survey for local radio stations and I told them I don't listen to the radio and please remove me from their list.They called again last night 5/12/14 at 9:07 PM for the same survey. Enough is enough..

VERY persistent with the calling. We never answered and we would see the number in caller ID several times if we were gone. The only way I answered - they called at 9:30 at night and woke me out of a sound sleep and I snatched the phone up without looking at caller ID. This is a radio survey. There was a live person on the phone after a brief recording. I asked them if tegu knew what time it was and told them I would be reporting them. Ridiculous.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Please cease and desist all future call to this number 434 835 0406. Also, please remove my name and number from your files and place them on the do not call list. Do not sell my name and number to any other companies. I am not interested in receiving calls from telemarketers or calls about surveys.

Last one I got I answered the phone as he local sheriff's department. They haven't called back since.

Their multiple calls often disconnect with no one answering and sometimes remove your cell phones ability to dial out until you reset your phone. this caller has called everyday! twice with in an hour!!!
