its a call from Paypal collections...

they never leave a message.

this phone number keeps showing up on my cell phone every couple of hours.  i donot recognize it nor am i answering it!!!

I DO NOT NO ANY ONE FROM THIS AREA AND I NEVER USED PAYPAL THE CALLS ARE GETTING MORE AND MORE EVERYDAY

I just got a new phone number and am called by 410-316-9744 ten to twenty times per day.  If I answer, they hangup after 4 seconds.  Most of the time, I don't answer.

I have no intention of calling 410-316-9744, so I found another number for paypal: 402-935-2050.  I had difficulty getting past the phone robot to talk to a human. Once I did, I found out that the previous owner/holder of this phone number had a paypal account with "Issues".  The collection department is closed for the night.  I left a message, but I doubt that will work. I will try calling tomorrow to straighten this out.

I might try 1-888-221-1167 tomorrow, this number was recommended on the phoneowner.info page for 410-316-9744.  Maybe I will dodge the phone robot.

This is PayPal. If you use Google Voice it can shield your phone # and allow you to block the call.

keep calling and hanging up

Called my business number. Recorded voice said to hold for an agent. Yeah. Fat chance of that. I have better things to do. I have NEVER had and will NEVER get a pay"pal" account. I've never trusted them. This re-enforces my judgment.

Paypal sided with a buyer even after we furnished tracking info from fedex saying buyer recieved the item. The best way to handle it is to tell them they have the wrong number and who have no idea who the person they are calling for is....they stopped calling! Paypal is no what is cracked up to be, it is not a safe way of selling anything on Ebay!!!

I am getting calls from this # 10 to 20 a day. I googled and found out it belongs to paypal. My paypal account is up to date so there should be no reason for all the calls.

I recently won a $1709.52 judgement against Paypal because they wouldn't return the $288.12 they took from my bank account.  They kept referring me to thier legal department...so I referred them to MY legal department.  I won the judgement and they had to pay my legal fees.  

Within a week of the check arriving, I started to get repeated calls from this number, and when I answered, they said they would like to work out a payment schedule for the $1709.52 I owed them and when can I send them the 1st payment.  

...huh?

I started getting calls on my cell at all hours of the day, even 7am on a Sunday, which was the last straw.

Contacted my lawyer about the calls and he said that because I had a prior business relationship with them, the calls do not fall under the "do-not-call" registry rules, so I cannot stop the calls, so all I could do is stop the calls from disturbing me at all hours of the day.  I added the number to my "contacts" list, and I changed the call settings to "Mute" for this contact only.  They still call, but I don't hear when they do.

They call me too.....several times a day.  I finally called it back, it is a collection agency associated with Paypal.  My account is current and open and has a $1K balance.  They couldn't understand why my number was on their automatic call list.  They told me to disregard the calls.  I will let you know if they stop calling.

I keep getting calls from this number.  They call me multiple times a day, even at night!  This is beyond harassment.  I don't even have paypal!

I seriously hate my phone number since the day i first got it...which was over 3 years ago..I keep getting calls and text messages about my "debt" I have tried telling them the person they want isn't me since at that time I was still in high school...but there are always new numbers calling me about my "debt"
This ONE is really irritating..they so far called me three times within 4 hours...and the sad part is that I get multiple phone calls from other debt collectors too within the day..

they said that there was a delinquent balance of 3000 on my pay pal account, they could never say was the money owed was from.  She said it was transfered from a bank account.  I asked what bank account she could not tell her.  I advised her to never call me again, she insisted on talking and I reminder her that she had yet to tell me any dates, banks or transaction history so DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN.

This number has been calling us 8-10 times a day for the past few weeks.  There is never anyone on the other end when we answer.  They start calling early in the morning and keep calling well into the evening.  Sometimes they call 2-3 times within a 5-10-minute period.  It's getting beyond ridiculous!  It just says Cockeysville, MD on our caller ID.  We finally just reported this number to the FCC yesterday for harassment.  Hopefully they will take care of these jerks and put a stop to these nonstop calls at all hours of the day.

I would like to have the caller using 410-316-9744 stop calling me every day several times, fact that has already become a harassment. The caller was identified as Paypal collection agency that is using an automatic feature for dialing customers they think owe money to Paypal - that is not my case. I have a negative balance with Paypal due to their mishandling of an eBay case but does not mean that I owe them money and this matter will go to court sometime in the future.

I called the number back - he said he was paypal.  So I called paypal and they said apparently my new number had been used by someone previously that had a paypal account.  So they removed that number from their database and said I should not get any more calls.  We'll see!

I got a call from this number today. They said they were from PayPal except they were looking for my ex-boyfriend who I haven't talked to for 4 years. Are they legit?

This # started appearing on my cell phone caller ID. They caller "NEVER" leaves a message, although they call several times daily.

Does anyone know of a software that allows one to block unwanted #'s? That would be a blessing.

I received a phone call from this number, and when I answered they immediately hung up! That was strange if you ask me.

I get a call from this number multiple times everyday. No one in my house recognizes it, no one ever answers, no one has ever left a voice mail.

They call my cell multiple times every day. The one time I've answered, they hung up a few seconds after I said hello.
