If you can get to a real person, someone with a pulse, you can do what I do. Listen to them for a minute, feign interest but ask them if they can hold for just a moment while you finish what you were doing when the phone rand - assuring them that you'll BRB - then just lay the receiver down beside the phone on the counter top - leaving the line open so they can hear background noise - and walk away. See how long you can keep them on!

dialed the number an automated voice said press any key to be added to the do not call list - I pressed any key.

I just got a call From them. They have been calling for about 2 years but I can't get them to stop. Today I decided i would accept their offer of a free security system. i though prehaps I would let them arrive at my front do to install and then i would tell them in person that I was not interested and that they need to stop calling me but the phone disconnected before I could get signed up.

They have called numerous times. Each time i get the same guy. I asked for corp. name (Security Technologies) and they are based out of Rhode Island. When i asked for a corp. number so i could call them throughout the day like they do me he hung up on me. They have hung up on me 3 times now. They use accouple numbers (410)-384-6992 and (757)-321-6279

Security system scam. CID Severna park MD scammers trying to get info from sick and elderly. Nothing but trash and thieves would work these jobs. Usually I try to keep them on phone then give them the air horn but this time it went to my recorder. Maybe next time I can rattle their ear drums.

Despite being on the Do Not Call list, I just got a robo call from caller ID Debt Relief spouting the FBI break in stats before offering a home alarm system (which I already have). I pressed # and * to mess with their ACD and hung up.
