The joke's on them, I was out of town, when they called on 10/20/13 at 6:17PM (dinner hour, go figure). Call is now blocked.

I don't know who these people are that are calling me but on caller id it's "Service Rewards". Rewards for what is beyond me.

"Service Rewards" Rhubarb again. May they have ingrown nosehairs until the end of time.

Second call came in a few minutes ago. Blocked!
I doubt that "Service Rewards" is their real company name.

The DNC list has stopped honest businesses from calling you if you don't want to be called. They realize that calling is a waste of time.
Now consider all the reports on this site. My guess is that 99% are some sort of scam (lower interest rates, medical alert systems, etc.) The recordings are illegal. The numbers are spoofed (another illegal act) and they are are hard to track through the carriers they use.
The simplest solution would be to require all carriers to provide unlimited, free call blocking. A good second step would be to require carriers to track extreme usage of numbers, i.e. tens of thousands of outgoing calls a day. That would be compared to FTC, FCC and websites like this for complaints. Any carrier with matches, or not cooperating, would have their 'numbers' returned to the FCC (remember, they do not "own" the numbers, the citizens of the U.S. own them).

Caller ID said Service Rewards robocall about some mortgage scam. I'm convinced the DNC list is more wasted tax dollars because they've never stopped calling. We do not answer any calls any more that we do not recognize. This is just another Blocked number that we are calling the police about for harassing phone calls. DO NOT PRESS ANY BUTTONS AS IT JUST CONFIRMS THAT YOUR NUMBER IS A WORKING NUMBER. They then sell your number on the illegal phone number market.

You want to know who owns the number or the caller wanted to know who owns your number?

They must've hit you right after me lol.

Caller ID said Service Rewards robocall about some mortgage scam. Said ours was flagged. press 1 to connect or 3 to decline the offer and I did neither. I reported the number to nomorobo. I'm convinced the DNC list is more wasted tax dollars because they've never stopped calling.

Received call this evening with Caller ID: Service Rewards / 410-387-7455. Didn't recognize it so didn't answer.
It checks as a cellphone in Halethorpe, MD. I blocked my caller ID and called the number. It goes to a recording that claims to remove my number by "pressing 1". That recording cycles over and over. I pressed "1" and it confirmed my removal. Amazing since my caller ID was blocked. Not that I believed these recordings were anything but a scam to get your number. Oh well, it's blocked now.
