I've been getting calls since Oct. 1st, just about every day. I don't pick up and when the answering device cuts in the call terminates. The Do Not Call listing doesn't call to ask if you want to be on it. They are up to something and it's not anything good.

One post noted this is AARP. Since I am a AARP sbscriver, I thought may be something about my account. So. I call back. Some one at the end of phone says " This is AARP, if you want "do not call" press one. So I did. Hopefully they they don't bother me again.

Took a long time for them to speak after I answered so I hung up.

The caller called us @13:16, 10/03/2013, While I was out watering in backyard. It left no message.
When I returned the call, clicked 1. They said they 'll remove our number 48 hr.
It always called back with different number.

I just received a call from 410-387-7471 and upon answering the phone, I immediately receive a recording asking if I would like to be placed on the "do not call list." I attempted to call the number back and received a similiar recording "thanking me for calling, and to press "1" if I wanted to be placed on the "do not call list."

Ditto here also called yesterday along with a local pest here in Az. AARP to me is just another company and in my opinion they are more interested in their paychecks that any senior issue.

Ditto to the previous messages. Just "Maryland" on the caller ID...we don't answer any calls on our land line anymore. Caller didn't leave a message.

Received a call from this number on Saturday night at 8:45, did not answer. Received another call today, Monday, from the same number and again, I did not answer. I figure if someone from Maryland has something of importance to share with me in Indiana, then they'll leave a message. Likely the caller is trying to sell one of their Medicare related insurance programs since sign-ups for Medicare supplementary insurance program begin on October 1.

Yeah, I just got this call too, of course I didn't answer. The ID just said Maryland, so I highly doubt it really is AARP, I belong to the AARP, and the Caller ID always identifies them that way, also I check the number online. This ain't them, folks.

Same call as described above. Seeking answers to four questions "for a survey." Told the caller I did not wish to participate; caller continued his spiel, ignoring my comment. Doubt it was from AARP since the Caller ID said only "Maryland."

They said they were from AARP. Asked 4 questions about Social Security. Then they wanted my email address. I did not give it to them. AARP already has my email address. Evidently they are just fishing for emails so they can send out junk.

This number continually rings here at my home....I want it to stop! I have called back and told whom ever...to stop calling but to no avail.

9/28/13 - 6:21 pm - everyday about same time someone calls - said it was from AARP.
Told them to stop! Of course they will not stop and continue to call each day.
If they are with AARP, they should be home knitting blankets instead of bugging us.
