Just received a call from this number and I called it back to find out that it was indeed Toyota Financial.  I just made a payment today so I was curious to find out why they called. The CSR apologized and said that I should not have been called because the person who called.  She said typically online payments take about 48 hours to show up but the CSR who originally contacted me should have checked my receipts, which would have showed my payment. I understand that mistakes happen and this was the friendliest rep I have spoken with so I am not too upset about the call. But I have spoke to some pretty rude Toyota customer service agents in the past

The problem is that I have never had a car loan, or any other loan through Toyota but I guess that little fact is unimportant to them because they keep calling.

It is Toyota and Lexus Financial Services. I told them I am not the person they are looking for and told them to not call this number anymore. When speaking to a representative on the phone they told me that they cannot remove this number unless the person with the account calls in and says "do not call this number". Now, instead of 6 calls a day. I now get 2 or 3 calls a day.

Toyota Calls me, my Wife and our underage Children on there Cell Phones, all the time during the day when kids have cell phones at school to be used only in an emergency. So they get calls when in class and get in trouble. Asked them no to call those numbers and in writing hasn't stopped them. We are current got behind a few times in past 4-1/2 years. Now they call up to 2 weeks before due date and want me to give them a check by phone or exact day it will be payed and how are u going to pay for it.
I ask them why are they breaking Law and asking me to write a hot check before I get payed some get scared and hang up on me. Now the worst is formally GMAC now Ally Bank that bought all existing vehicle loans and bought GMAC financial. Ally calls 10-20 times a day with automatic dialler and when u do answer they hang up on you. But will sometimes leave message to call then. Another thing against the law is they call anyone in your area with same last name u have trying to get hold of you. So in all ALLY BANK is a little worse in some areas.  Also have had calls as early as 07:00 am and as late as 11:00 pm  Which is against the LAW but the don't care.

it's Toyota bugging me because my payment is 14 days late... paid off an entire loan, I have been paying on a second one and they want to bust my balls because it's June 2nd and my May 19th payment ain't made yet???

I pay my bill a month early every month and this number calls me. Does anyone know why? They always call while I'm either at work or sleeping and can never answer.

no this is not true, they do this to me aswell every month, i have the payments made online and the same thing, they tell me they will update the systems and 2 hrs later they are calling me again. not all can even speak english, or same my name right which is not hard and its very hard not to get frsutrated with them when you cant undertsand them.
i will NEVER go through toyota again, EVER! they are so annoying. its bulls*it

That was funny. You are right, though. They are calling because your payment is late. Pay your payment and they stop calling. It ia annoying that they won't leave a message any of the 5 times that they call per day.

There is one problem with this, I pay my bill monthly on time, & usually starting the week before the payment is due, Toyota Financial starts calling me at least 2-3 times a day. Again this is before my bill is due, I answered on time & they wanted to verify that I knew my bill was due & that I was going to pay it, I said yes I had it set up online to be paid, they said thank you & would update their systems, not 2 hours later they called again from the same number, didn't answer that time & they continued to call several times daily until they got there money. I have a friend that works for a toyota dealership & they get a lot of complaints from new customers who just brought cars that they start getting these calls before their first payment is due usually a week after they get their payment schedule.

I am not a financial adviser, but I have seen this strategy work for others.

These folks with their incessant calling, I get a call at least 10 times a day, they call my home phone, my work phone, and even my cell phone. When I call it back I get an answering machine saying "thank you for calling Toyota Financial Services".  I immediately think this must have something to do with the payment I haven't sent them in two months. So one day I answer and they keep talking about this fictitious date on some b***s*** contract THEY SAY I signed with them a couple of months ago, saying on or before this MAGICAL DAY each and every month I would send them "X" amount of dollars, and if for some reason I decide not to send it to them, they say that they start to worry if I'm going to send them some money, so they call me to see if they can get me to pay them. This is the rudest policy I've ever heard of, I told them they don't have to call me, it would much nicer if they would just send me an email since I've got a spam filter, and I'll know where to find their emails if I ever want to see one. So they tell me that's not acceptable and they have no control over who gets called or when, it's a computer that dials the phone for them, and pulls the account up on the screen when it dials. So now I can see that it's those damn computers that hate me. I thought I would pass this info on to you guys, Toyota is a good company, but those damn Japanese computers can't stand us!

Toyota calls every month several times a day for at least a week around the time our bill is due even if the bill is not late and if there is a scheduled payment posted online. It seems like it is from a different phone number every time and sometimes listed as unknown. I do not answer if it comes up unknown or I don't know the number and they never leave a message. They have even called at work!  It is very frustrating. I will never do my financing through the car company again! I'm counting down the days until my car is paid off!
Other numbers I have had toyota call from (I google the numbers to find out who it is): 800-965-2808, 877-241-8107, 877-783-0766.

Oh my goodness. They been calling me 5 times in one day for the past 2 days. They don't even leave a message when they go to my voice mail. I'm thinking, "...it's a number that i don't recognize, so I'm not gonna pick it up. Plus if they don't leave a message, it mustn't be that important..." right?

They called at 8:05 am, 9:15 am and 10:50 am as of this time, today 10/10.  Should I sue them for harassment?

I dont think it is fair to call more than 5 times a day and they dont leave a message. They say the costomer is always right and should give us courtesy it is being dishonest to let people know who your are on the caller ID or voice mail. Can anyone agree?

It come in as unknown.  We do not answer
