This "magazine company" is a total scam! When I answered the phone this fast talking lady said that I was entered to win a $1,000 gift card from Visa...all I had to do was to confirm my Visa card # which they had on file. When they gave me the right number I said that it was correct. The lady said "thank you for your business, I will transfer you to a manager to claim your prize." Once the manager was on the phone she thanked me for my magazine subscription for the next 90 months. I freaked out! I was pretty calm at first when I told her that I didn't authorize any charge to my account and that I didn't want any magazine subscription. She said that I verbally authorized them to charge my account because I verified the card # they had on file for me. When I tried to talk, she continually talked over me and told me there was nothing I could do, not even cancel because I was in a contract with them for the next 90 months! After calling them back and speaking to different managers, they said there was nothing they could do but lower my monthly bill to from $39.99 to $29.99. Since they refused to credit my account, I had to go to the bank and cancel my account, file a fraud charge and open a brand new account. When you see this company's number on your caller ID....DON'T ANSWER!!!!!!

For the past few days I have been getting a call from them about some magazine . The last time they called I blew a whistle into the phone and haven't heard from them since

THey called me today and I knew i was being scamed but that already had my credit card number and i don't know how!? i'm very confused... apparently I'll be being charged 39.99 for next 30 months... obviously will be fighting this but pain in the butt

This is not the first call I have received like this, but they call from the same number a few times then change numbers. This time a man named Brian called asking about my magazines. I asked what company he worked for and told him that I don't have an account with a company by that name. He said that he could transfer me to his supervisor to get my named removed from their list. His supervisor, Tim, was a huge A**HOLE. I assured him that I did not have an account with them and he said, "Well you obviously do, or we wouldn't be calling you." He tried to tell me that I had been paying them $50 a month for a year. I told him that I have not been because I would know if money was being taken from my bank account. He started yelling at me, so I told him what kind of A**HOLE he was being and hung up.

They have called two days in a row but I didn't answer. After I found this information, I called them back. if you press 3 on he automated answering service hey will supposedly remove your number from their calling list but they say it'll take two business days. I just did his today so we'll see.

This number keeps calling me, I figured it was a scam so I have never answered and my number is already on the National Do Not Call Registry, how do I get them to leave me alone??  Possibly get a real job where they don't bother people??

They called me and said the same thing, that they were from some magazine company. They almost ended up talking me into getting magazines and even ended up charging my card. I called back and canceled. I let them know they were very pushy and rude and they ended up crediting my card back. They wont stop harassing me. They need to stop.

Their first question is about my age. I asked "For what?", then they said "to verify". They even said they had my credit card number, trying to help me out by reducing the fee of my magazine subscription. When I asked for their company name and the magazine name, they refused to answer or said "oh well... Family... uh uh Family Fun or something...". I asked them to cancel anything like that since all my subscriptions have already been paid or are free, then they said "nothing is free in this world", and now they couldn't cancel my subscription. I told them I didn't have any such subscriptions, and  they became very rude "So do want my help or not" (and their help is to check my account and reduce the price for me". And they kept transferring the phone to many of their "supervisors", who sounded like uneducated people making phone calls from some noisy streets.

Received a few calls. No messages. Finally picked up and this guy Bruce spoke really fast talking about my subscriptions. I said I had none and he was like, oh really? Well I'm looking at your account. I asked where he was calling from at least 5 times and he kept saying some magazine company. I said take my name off of your list. He said in order to do that he needed to transfer me to his supervisor. I said, I don't have time for this I am at work. This went on for a few seconds and then he hung up on me. Who would work for a company like this????

Harassing magazine scam. They call EVERY MORNING asking for my husband and are RUDE and yell at me not to hang up. They don't state the name of the company they just say this is "your magazine company" or "your magazine service" and try to pretend they are another company Viking Magazine that we also got ripped off by and they seem to know it and try to sell us crap or clam we owe them money.
