I have my car warranty with them, and I have never had any problems with them. They are a company branch off from carfax.

Received 12 calls in 4 hrs from this number, 21 calls total fro. 9am to 730 pm

This number is tied to Carchex.  I ordered a Carchex inspection report for a used vehicle located in another city.  I wanted to purchase the vehicle, but wasn't going to drive 8 hours round trip if the vehicle wasn't worth buying.  So I paid Carchex to look at the vehicle for me.  It took the inspector 6 days to get the report back to me, when I was told over the phone that I would have my inspection within 3 days.  The vehicle almost sold to someone else during that time.  Carchex is only open 8-4 Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.  Unlike the rest of the country, they do not work late hours or weekends.  I put in 12 hour days, 6 days a week, to make sure my customers are taken care of on time and are satisfied.  I expect the companies I do business with to have the same standards.  I called Carchex this morning to voice my displeasure, and they refunded $50 of my purchase fee.   I was on a conference call when they called a few minutes ago, and I could not take their call.  They did not leave a message.  I hope I don't get calls repeatedly from them like everyone else on this website is experiencing.  Also, I have seen bad reviews about Carchex's Used Car Extended Warranties.  Evidently, they're funded by a company known for scamming buyers with bad extended warranties and not honoring their contracts.  They say they are owned by CarFax, but it is a very loose association from what I have read.  Look up "Carchex scam" on google, and you will see for yourself.  I will not be using them again.

Have not bought a car in 15 yrs.  Have not asked for info.
Caller has called 4 times today every 2 hrs.  Caller only lets the phone ring 1-3 times before hanging up.

Have not searched for this & have no need for this.  Have not bought a vehicle in 15 yrs.

As the person mentioned above -- Call them, hit 1 when prompted, and you'll get a numan being on the phone.  Just tell them you want your number removed.  Took me about 10 seconds.  No more calls.  For the record, I had requested a quote from Carchex, so it wasn't a surprise when they called.

I did sign up for a carchex quote in Nov. 2012.    
Nov.-Dec. 2012 - 2 missed calls that first week
Dec. 2012 - one email stating they tried to call and if I was still interested to give them a call.  
Jan. 2013 - one missed call
 So far seems professional amount of contact.

I have been receiving calls from this #, and they do not leave vmail msgs... strange.
I inquired on their website carchex.com about their extended warranties and their vehicle inspection
service.  But if they don't have the courtesy to leave a vmail message, I will not use them.
I only found out who this number belongs to by doing a google search and finding these
other postings.  Why should I have to waste my time to do a search on their phone #?

It leaves me with a bad impression of their company.
I can only imagine how difficult it would be to get
an answer from them if I have a problem with my extended warranty that I bought from them,
or if I hired their vehicle inspection service to check out a used car I was going to buy.

This is CarChex an extended warranty company, if they are calling you, it is because you submitted a request for an extended warranty company. Just call them back hit 1 when prompted and they will remove your number no questions asked.

This isn't a telemarketer.  This is Carchex.  They sell extended car warranties.  If they are calling you, you probably have an extended car warranty that you purchased, either through them or someone else, that is about to expire.  They are most likely calling to see if you want to extend the policy.  

For what it is worth, I have used Carchex in the past and they are pretty good, as far as extended 3rd party warranties go.  I bought a $1000 bumper to bumper policy in 2006 and I had about $2200 worth of repairs done in 2011 and I paid about $120 out of pocket, so they saved me about $1100 total (after subtracting the policy cost).

This place is not a scam,not every one who calls you is a scam people need to relax

I don't know why they are calling me! I never sign up for anything so I'm not sure why they call me. They called my phone thirteen times startig on Monday!

They call 5 times a day.....EVERYDAY!!! I'm on the Do Not Call" list but apparently that's not enforced

I made the mistake of clicking on a "Free Instant Quote" link from this Car Chex agency.  This was actually referred from a Carfax email directly soliciting it.  After submitting, you find out you have to talk to someone between limited hours on weekdays.  This is not instant, and at this point, it's no longer free.  

They have called me 3-4 times a day, without ever leaving a message.  I'm sorry, but no legitimate business is run like this.  Even collection agencies leave a message the first few attempts.  This alone makes me have no interest in hearing anything further about their warranty or anything else.  Not to mention more digging into how shady they are with coverage and contracts.  If you read their fine print, it says you "MAY" get a call, not you will get multiple calls daily.

I'm not sure how long this is going to continue, but a week of it has been enough.  I've never had a problem with Carfax, but after this, I may be done using them as well for recommending this terrible company.  There's no way to remove your information from their website either, I have already tried to search.

They have been calling our number for days.  Over a month ago, we changed our phone number, yet they found us.  Since we don't recognize the number, we don't answer and they hang up without leaving a message.  However, their constant calling has become quite annoying.

They are worse then my stalker lol. Call when you least expect it. And it's a machine. I finally blocked the number.

I have not looked for a car and do not intend to replace my 1994 Saturn in the near future.    I have never looked for an extended warranty.   They got my phone number from somewhere.

This number is so annoying they call daily 3-4 times and when we do pick up they ask for someone who doesn't even live here and even though we tell them that they insist on calling two hours later again. DO NOT PICK UP !

Guys - just call them and ask to have your number removed.  It is very easy to do.  They have been calling me several times a day because I did inquire about an extended warranty, which ultimately I did not get, but they are sales people and they are just following up to see if they can make a sale - who can blame them?

They called and offered a extended warrenty on my car. quoted at 1200 for a 100k m or 5 yr. which ever came 1st. resonable. Could do monthly payment plan of 134.98 for 12 if you finance it.

This number called me early this morning... almost 7:30 am and they just hung up.

I registered on the national do not call list - I thought I was already on it.  The next time they call I will be reporting them to the Justice Department

Made a big mistake giving away my cell phone number... Will never do this again.....

They called my cell six times yesterday, which I ignored. Today I picked up the second time, they asked for some random name and claimed someone here asked for a warranty. I never signed up for anything even remotely related to that.
