Ask them to stop calling many times with out any sucess.Asked to speak to Supervisor. She assured me my number would be removed from their local call center but suggested I call the national center in Washington,DC. (National Childrens Center) at 202-722-2300.(email: giving@nccinc.org). Still waiting to see if all this works.

I saw the truck with that number on it today (410 536 4205). It is the National Children's Center. They accept donations.

has called every day for the past 6 months.
i have politely told them not to call anymore since i have donated re-usable items to "purple hearts" for the past 10 years and dont plan on changing.
they stopped calling for a week and are not back at it again.

I called them back, got a customer service rep. named Tommy; I asked him to take my number off of the call list.......he said he would, we'll see.

This is a legitimate retail company that collects re-usable items such as clothing, books and housewares. Value Village is similar to GoodWill except it donates to different non-profit companies. For every item donated, they pay the "consignment" fee to a charity. I have donated to them in the post. Here's a link:

caller answered never stated who she was nor company name.
started saying would you like to donate a bag of items, we will be in
your area May 27 morning. I said, who are you? she gave me a name.
she said just leave the bag outside of home and they will pick it up.
she said she is with the childrens foundation. I told her that caller ID says something else, so I hung up on her.
