got the call at about 8:15pm EST, lady named Pam claimed to be calling on behalf of the MD State Highway Admin.  Told caller we weren't interested and hung up.  K-24 is right about calling the number back and the automated system says the number isn't in service.

OK.  I figured it out.  The number is from a telehone system for some Maryland government offices.  The individual who called me works for the state University system.  For some reason this number shows as his call back number even though it isn't.

I also receive calls from this number on my home phone and my cell.  I ignore the calls too.

Someone from this number called me on my direct office line (I have caller ID) and also my cell phone, within minutes of each other.  Because I was busy I answered neither.  However, when I did return the call a recording answered stating the number was no longer in service.  Very strange they know to call both my office and cell telephones to try and reach me.

Ditto for me with the number.

Ignored it, called it back and got the not in service message.

A female called from this number 2 times, and claimed to be doing a survey for the Maryland Highway Safety Admin. I refused to answer any survey questions. Something didn't sit well with me about this call when I called the number back, I received a message stating the number was not in service. My advise to anyone that receives a call from this number should ignore the call.
