Called at 4:00pm asked to speak to Pamela (my wife). Gave a company I couldn't understand. After my quizzing she hung up.

Their name is Pentagroup and they are a collection agency, as you guessed.  They call here all the time looking for people who don't live here - but pay no mind to that - so I no longer answer their calls & let my fax pick it up so it shrieks in their ears. :)

Bill that is 9 days past due.  Began getting 3 calls at 7 days, 4 at 8 days and 6 today including one at quarter of 9pm
They used 866-384-2485 until the one late tonight.  Not one message in all of these calls.

I've had 13 calls in the past two days alone.  My Dell bill was due on the 3rd.  It is the 12th.  This was Dell Financial or whatever agency they use.  I went OFF on the guy on the phone.  8:45 pm... they've called way too many times, holiday/sunday/etc.

I asked if they were the 866 number that had been calling non-stop.  They didn't leave a message.  My assumption is sales cal and I won't answer.  Had Dell called I would have answered during the message or called back.  9 days late with $43.00  You'd think I forgot to pick up the Queen or something.  URGH!  I keep going to go to te website to pay but I refuse to until I sit to do all of my bills.  I'm somebody with good credit who pays ontime.  It is harrassment as far as I'm concerned

410-704-6024 calling several times a day.  They leave no message.  I don't owe anyone, either.  

I tracked them down, yes, they'd use an 800 # but appear to be using the 410 as a loophole.

Called again today @ 1:55pm ....no message

Debt collection auto caller.  I'd had an outstanding balance with electric company after moving, and I called the number left on this message ((866-384-2097) AFTER clearing my debt up with the electric company directly.  The guy was able to verify the exact amount delinquent, and asked for a payment confirmation number from the electric company.  He did not ask for any billing information, and assured me that once the electric company affirmed my payment, calls would stop.

Overall, the volume and persistence of calls was annoying, but once I was on the phone with a human ("Marty"), he was polite, understanding, and very helpful.

Unless you see another post by me ranting about this number, you can assume that this is a legitimate collections call about a debt that you have, whether you are aware of it or not.  I suggest getting details about the debt from them, and settling the debt with the original company in question, then confirming payment with this agency.

They've called me twice today. One at 10:54am and the second at 2:15pm. They didn't leave a message either time.

Called around 1:24 p.m on 8/12/08.  Left a message stating that it was a collection agency trying to get a hold of me. Name sounded like Sentgroup Financial LLC or Cenigroup.  I really couldn't understand name.  I have no outstanding debts.  The caller ID showed this number, but the message left 866-384-2097

This # was used to get around using a 800 #. After calling for 6 months, A dirty trick but I didn't answer. It is located in MD.
