At 2:37 a.m. my phone rang. I was sleeping and didn't want to answer as the person left a voice message so I listened to the voice message afterwards thinking it was some kind of emergency (I hadn't looked at the phone number). The woman's voice said "You can be the first one to hang up, or you can wait for me to hang up"

You people seriously need to calm the F down. They are offering a service, and it's people that are putting in your number, most likely by typo, or maybe to annoy you because they dislike you. This is a service, and is the reason why the do not call list has no effect. If this was the case, the pharmacy, doctor's office, ect. would not be able to return your call just in case someone put your number down accidentally. If it's really bothering you block the number. Getting a call from them by mistake is the same as a wrong number. They are a service that millions of people use, and a few miss-typed numbers can't be helped, just like wrong numbers can't be helped.

I received a call from this number at 12:56 am. This caller woke me up and was unable to go back to sleep. There should be a ban on companies using cell phone numbers to call people at all hours of the night.

I received a call from this number at 12:54 am this morning. Irritating, who does that? Didn't answer nor did they leave a message. i havent received another call but am about to use the email to remove my number, hopefully that will work.

I get this calls on skype all the time as I have a skype number, message says your friend at pinger calling, press 1 if you want to login to your pinger account or press 2 to hang up

Pinger is just a free texting service. They assign you a phone number so that you don't have to pay for text messages through your mobile phone company.
Anybody can sign up for an account, and since all the numbers are owned by Pinger/Textfree it is going to show up under their name, even if they didn't make the call from that number.
if you want to stop the calls then you need to contact this man
make sure you share the number for others don?t get spammed
