Have rec'd numerous calls from 410-774-8277, but reverse lookup only shows it is a landline. They never leave a vm, and I am sick of the calls.

Number 410-774-8277 is a promotion call from Directv requesting that you return to their cable service.  The best way to stop their phone calls is to e-mail Directv.  Tell them the reason that you discontinued their service and that you have signed up with another cable company.

I keep getting calls from Direct TV all hours day and night. Today I called the DIRECTV® Official Site1 (877) 483 0696 and talked to a customer service rep and told them to put me on their 'NO CALL LIST' their Rep Asia asked my name and she had my number and said it was done. We will see.  I  recently stopped Direct TV service for a new provider so since I am on my States 'Colorado's No Call List' Direct TV had my number and was exempt from the States no call list for upto 18 months.

Try this to stop this and other telemarketing calls.  It worked for me.

well thay called i said hello 2 times and thay never said any thing  i dont want them calling us we dont know the # so  who ever thay are  i want it stoped  so  report them now

Annoying calls from this number have been coming in everyday for weeks.
It is Direct TV and I told them countless times to stop calling me.
The calls are still coming in 3 times a day!!!

I live in Albuquerque and just cancelled Direct TV.  They call every day.  Now that I know who it is I will answer and tell them to buzz off.

This is a tactic DirecTV uses to harass ex customers. They think that if they can get you to talk to them you will 'fall back in love'....pretty much like a STALKER thinks.  Funny, it never works out very well for anyone involved.  Call 1800-351-5000 this is DirecTV customer service....just speak jibberish through all of the automated prompts asking you for your phone and zip code....and VOILA! you will get a person, who is being recorded for 'quality purposes'...heh heh.  Mention the word 'harassment' and tell them to remove your number from their system.  Both the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov) as well as the Federal Communications Commission (www.fcc.gov) frown on poor business conduct such as this. You may wish to file a complaint against DirecTV with them as well.

This is DirectTV trying to get customers to come back.  I have tried calling the number back several times, and always got a busy signal.  Today I was finally able to get through and instructed them to put my number on their Do Not Call list.  We'll see if it works.

Harrassing people is NOT a way to earn their business back.  idiots.

They call me on my home phone about 3 to 5 times a week.  I answered today and no one was there so I hung up and called back on my cell phone.  No one answered and I got the chance to leave a message.  I gave them my name and the home number they were calling and told them to STOP CALLING or I am filing phone harassment charges on them.  They call all hours of the day sometimes several times a day.  I will NEVER return to Directv especially after this, because they can't leave people alone!

I cancelled my direct tv several months ago and a couple months ago I started receiving calls
from them asking me to  "come back into the fold"  because they missed me......right.

This is a marketing service calling on behalf of Direct TV, who should be boycotted due to all these annoying calls.

410 is an area code in Maryland - town of Crofton, MD (410 covers: Baltimore | Annapolis | Salisbury | Laurel | Westminster and surrounding vicinities) - The caller id shows as 'Maryland'. Whomever they are, they never leave a message and always call my home between 6:45 am and 7:00 am - Arizona time.

It is Direct TV.  I hung up on the recording one day.  Then I listened to the end one day hoping for a code to stop the calls.  But NO such code given.  They are making me crazy calling EVERY DAY.
How can I make them STOP??????

I have recieved several call from this number and yes it's Directv.  I used to have them then switched to comcast and now I recieve several calls a day from them and mail.  It is so aggravating. Jeesh don't they know annoying someone will not get them to join/rejoin.

Just hang up as most of this is just trying to get information and sell you service, that may not even meet your needs.  Otherwords, they want your money

They called but didn't leave a message. But my caller ID said it was a call center.
